I fished every day of my life from 12 to 84. Started FULL white synthetic SPF 50 outfit. 10 years ago Look just like jmil above. The non malignant cancers are now being cut out of my ears. Will not be long now. Cover up with clothes. No constant slimy lotions on everything.

The St. Lawrence is so clear it is just like a solid piece of glass to 60 feet down. I can troll with 200' of line & a Rapala floater & bring up fish. The river is invasive central of the lakes.

THe more ....PAIRS .....of discs of the same size. The more TOTAL friction can be developed. You might get away with 4 new discs. See if any plastic disc has SMEARED a erratic coating on any surfaces. If it has ? you have a severe problem to remove it WITHOUT making small goug in the reel surfaces. I could never buy a reel with out a AR system and a smooth drag. Take that back a bit. I have 2 Diawa spinning Ultralights. The Automatic Bail closer part is so small It took 45 minutes to modify to close with the handle rotation easily. Factory told me good luck on doing it. Common problem with that series. I have modified both after a couple of hours of testing adjustments..

Trust a cardiologist. I get warning feelings of blockages forming. The muscles in the lower jaw give a sensation of just like you have waited to long to pass urine. They will get closer & stronger as My blockages get worse. Very light cold sweat flashes1 minute or so. I can also get high B P whistling in my ears and feeling a pulse in my hearing when laying down on a pillow. We can all act with different oddities from our bodies.

Any water with cormorant, eagles, herons and osprey ? Calm, sunny clear water Is DEATH to fish a couple of feet down. SOOOO I have all of those birds. Buutt They were very few of the birds last year. Fewer fish is only reason I can think of.

You need to ask around for a excellent Cardiologist. Been there Dropped totally DEAD no pulse in front of 30 ? friends. Shafernack said I had hard as concrete material as the blockage causing 96 % blockage in the lower and 60 % in the upper chamber. Rudnick had a special going in his department. Pacemaker & Defibrilllator. Shafernack went in a 2nd time. Same hard stuff to break up. I had heart stopping attacks since I was 20 ish. Me Macho I restarted by myself. Back then ? No sweat. Line up a Cardiologist now.

If I took them out ? I would need to drink 2 bottles first.

Choice ............Go fishing with bad wind direction? Stay home as 5 old woman play Mahjong & drink wine ? Sit In the windy boat & do wind drifts and trolling. ?

I may / will keep a fly rod and spinner also for trolling. Old joints. It is odd. But if the weather gets windy & choppy. The fish are a joy that reduces joint pain. ?

Good call torm. I agree with you. Repeat catching of spawning beds takes a toll.

All using the handle in reverse got me was wacked fingers on hard high speed hits going away. You still are using the drag some times. Trolling with 2 rods & no drag ? I use the drag at max setting for what ever I am after. It reduces excessive Playing Out of a fish.

Pike & Walleye are both VERY shocky. If Restrained in a container or on a stringer. I have had them be breathing. But unable to move at all. I kill & bring them in for seniors to enjoy.

Thank you everyone !! I wanted to be sure it was not just me or all the clean water causing a drop off of ALL fish types. There are no schools of small NEW hatched fish any more. Just a few giant adults with skinny bodies. Will sell off everything but the small boat & 1 spin rod set up. Feel like the cook on the song of the ....Edmund Fitzgerald....

Always in clear sunny water. I go to 4# Mono & barbless hooks !!! The fish bite & hook up much more. BUUT The fish can get the barblees hook out in less than a minute. Have had my Rapalas float to surface quickly.

If this year is like last year? I will seriously consider selling off all but 1 spin 6' . I enjoy bringing Perch to other seniors at the camp. That is my high point of life. Sharing.

It sure is not me. I can not catch fish where there are none or very few. That is the 1 thing I have learned.

Fronts usually have winds & waves. Fish have MOVED deeper to get out of the wave action.

A day of fishing is far better then doing Whoopi !! ?
