  1. Thanks for the concern about my mental state. Been very erratic with a new Prostrate Cancer drug. See if I can give Glenn so time off. ๐Ÿ˜€
  2. I looked at the exploded diagram. Good grief Charlie Brown . I will be dead if I bumped the table and those parts became a pile.

I am old and just had a rash for several days. Was dam lucky.๐Ÿ‘
  4. With a lure that has no hooks. ๐Ÿ‘
  5. End of the day with minnows left over. Ramp was not busy. So I pulled the rig just out of the water. Started to toss each minnow about 10' out. Into the clear water over the ramp. Dark speedsters darted across the ramp as each minnow hit the water I always draw a crowd at the ramp. The guys just did not believe the bass were smarter than they were with lures.
  6. I finally did get the log in system to allow me to log in. After I did a post. ๐Ÿ‘
  7. Was good this morning.
  8. I only use foam USCG rated. I have lived forever ? 86 ๐Ÿ˜€
  9. They are hungry and aggressive in prespawn period. Should be super easy. UNLESS They have already been hooked & released several times already.
  10. Another group of the .... Only fish in a barrel of hungry fish ?
  11. Fluorocarbon line is invisible? So a much shorter leader is acceptable That keeps the knot from laying on the spool. Done Use a shorter leader.
  12. Why I and my Perch fillet person wear S S metal woven cloves.
  13. Line watchers DO catch a lot more of the experienced, previously caught, fish.
  14. The rep;ys have convinced to check all new & old hook points on the dividers of the Plano tackle box. Not my old finger nails. Will buy a a head mounted magnifier and light to do all the hooks at a time. I like to eat out all my spare money. Not buy hooks. Sharpest hooks and tight lines. ๐Ÿ˜€
  15. Kids that do not want to hurt the fish. Use it to attract and bring fish into a childs casting range. I have my limit of 6 big Yellow Perch for a friend. I really enjoy getting them to gang up on a lure. ๐Ÿ‘
  16. As a fish gets ...FATTER... He loses several benefits that he had when he was in good shape. Speed, acceleration, ability to swim with a school of similar sized fish. SOOO He becomes a AMBUSHER. Put the boots on. ๐Ÿ‘
  17. When you reel in a fish and tug gently on the fish with a loose line. The hook coms out easily. YUP Time to file a new point again.
  18. Put the lever in either position ?
  19. I like the Rapala knives. But i am constantly cutting up a small perch to catch several large ones for senior friends to enjoy. I keep the Kitchen Paring 6" blade in the top long space of the tackle box. I take the small stone from the kitchen to the boat for a resharpening. I am constantly cutting the scales of the baitfish. ๐Ÿ‘
  20. Seems my using cut fresh bait dulls the blade quickly. Fish scales ? Anyone else have that problem ? The Rapala knife is too hard of a metal. So I bought a cheap short kitchen ,,,Paring knife. Softer S S blade. 4 strokes fully resharpned.
  21. The knife allows fresh blood to be used as a ...Attractant... on the next use of the lure. ๐Ÿ˜€
  22. When you are out before the season starts in your area ????????? ๐Ÿ‘Ž Death by Hypothermia in the water or soaking wet body is a real problem. VHF radio...Cellphone... and a long enough anchor setup are life savers. I always run EACH fuel tank ...COMPLETLY DRY... That always allows ALL WATER in the tank to be sucked out with just a few seconds of rough running before complete empty tank stoppage. So many little things to learn about boating. ๐Ÿ˜€
  23. To do hook changes at night in a windy boat ? Or daytime ? 2 fine tip ...Needle Nose pliers are needed and a small thin bladed knife. And some practice at home in good light. 1 plier hold the ring. Then a thin pointy knife blade tip separated the rings near a ring end. Slide the treble hook into the spread apart ring loop. Rest is easy................ As you will find out . You can START the new hook right next to the old hook before sliding the old hook loop too far away from the spread apart ring opening.
