Thanks for clearing this up. It's kind of what I figured, but I didn't know they ate them all. Well if the bucket fishermen are eating all the fish out of the pond that people are complaining about by me, they'll probably be dead in a few years anyway.
At the risk of sounding stupid what are "Bucket Fisherman"? I presume they fish with a bucket, but I always hear the local guys talking negatively about them and how they are causing a lot of " damage" to a local lake. How do they cause damage?
I saw this come up in a different thread and it sounded like a good idea to me. Has anyone out there fished these types of baits? How have your experiences been? If you have any recommendations I'd be curious to try them. I saw that Foodsource and Berkley Gulp are biodegradeable, but not sure if there are others out there.
I still think the A rig is unsporting but you really do bring up a great point about having bigger problems to worry about, specifically keeping our waterways clean and viable. I'll never understand why SOME anglers could care less about protecting waterways when it directly impacts their favorite pastime. Great post.
What do guns and religion have to do with fishing a lure???? I like to shoot bass with my shotgun when they surface whilst saying a Hail Mary as much as the next guy but I think this is a little off topic.
