  3. Hi guys, Im having trouble with my finished lead heads twisting on the hook. Im pouring a weedless stand up head and some others and they seem to twist on the hook. Is there a way to stop it, something to buy and treat the hook with before pouring...any suggestions...anyone have similar problems? Thanks in advance for the reply.

Really like them, great job! FYI...try to use the macro setting on your digital and a small tripod for sharper/clearer images. Works like a charm
  5. Thanks! I can crank em out pretty quick. Im excited to make them on the Mustad 90 degree bln jig hook. Ive found one thats 1/4" longer than the standard 32746bln. No plans to sell them really, let me know if you want some to try out. Give me a PM and I will shoot you my email!

  8. I went out to a stream on my farm today to test some new tube jig heads that I've been making. I was actually just trying out various weights and tube sizes to see what works best when WHAM!!!... a nice little largemouth decided she would like to sample Earthworms/MicroMunch Tackles' 3.25" tube. She hit in slack water and took off in the swift current, great fight! I love these tube jigs, (I'll attach ina nother post) I can adjust the weight up and down the shank. Slide it towards the head if you want a faster fall, slide it back if you want a slow horizontal flutter. I just got some Mustad Black Nickel hooks in various sizes and eye angles and am very excited to start pouring on them. So far, the 90 degree angle seems to work the best, a ton of action as it falls and darts when twiched. Wasnt even looking to catch a fish today...just a bonus! Aint life grand???!!!
  9. Whats everyones preference for going weedless when you pour your heads...Yoke, Fiber or wire? I have used single and double strands of wire for my tube heads and they look great, Im now making weedless stand ups and want some input on the Yoke style verses the others...Thanks!
  10. Very good, Ill give it a whirl! Thanks again.
