  1. Ive got one too. It always does the same thing. You can throw just about anything, so I keep it as a spare just in case.
  2. Youre right. Im sorry. my mistake. Ive been too busy with the Fire Departments that I have had little time to fish, and my brain is overloading due to lack of water therapy. I will try harder to keep my brain under control, and attemp to produce a thought. My name is Matt, and Im going through fishing withdrawels.
  3. This is true too. My theory, note I said MY THEORY, is the sweet spot for a rig is around $150-200 on the reel, and $75-125 for a rod.
  4. Its called FISHING, not CATCHING, lol. It happens.
  5. Let me guess, spoons make people fat too huh? Hahahahaha.
  6. Im not looking to buy a rod, it was just a thought that ran through my head while browsing around at new rods.
  7. I almost pulled the trigger when TW put them on sale. By the time I decided O was gonna do it, they were sold out of what I was going to get.
  8. Yes, but that will get me in trouble if I start fishing those. They are sweeeeeet though.
  9. Wow, some of you are reading this all wrong, or looking for something that isnt there. I guess some of the prices that some of you are wiling to pay are way higher than mine. Some of you say there is enough options and no need for more. Some saying that if they dropped to making a $100 rod it would be no better than whats available. I get it, but most people arent willing to pay $200 for a rod, some people would like to see companies partake in the price range build to see what they would offer. Would it be better than whats available, who knows, but wouldnt you like to see? Geeez, get all out of whack about it why dont you.
  10. Yes I did, but when your a tackle junkie, I mean enthusiest, its just nice to see a vast variety. Sellus is awesome, but not all I own. Use them for my reaction style rigs. Have since bought 2 more rigs, needind more sensative rods for fishing needing more feeling, Compre rods. Just want to see more options. I also stated that, lets see if I no longer need to spend the $100, well I did for the sensativity.
  11. Because you can never have enough options in fishing. I think every brand should try to cover all price ranges for consumers. Is it going to happen prob not, but it would be nice. Was just a thought that it would be a nice option for consumers.
  12. Get some YoZuri 12#. Its cheap enough that you wont mind losing some, and strong enough that if you get an overrun, it wont break off.
  13. Crazy that this has happened. On a side note, this is why I dont order rods online. I know this is replacement issue. When Shimano replaced a rod for me, it was in a 1/2" thick round tube, and the rod was wrapped in soo much bubble wrap that it could have been dropped from the FedEx plane and be OK. I hope they do right for you Diggy, otherwise I would be asking for them to get on their knees for forgiveness.
  14. Oh boy. Gonna be another fan boy, lol.
  15. Citica and a Lightning Shock rod.
  16. The fact that you took the time to post that made me laugh 10X harder, lol. Good stuff.
  17. Even though they may be the same company, they will have different specs and styles. Pure fishing does the same with the reels, Im just saying for diversity and sales. Its just nice to have many options for lengths, materials, handles, etc.
  18. Companies like Shimano, Abu, Falcon, St Croix have stepped up and made amazing rods for the $100 range. Now, we need companies like G Loomis that are known for high priced rods to step up and get with the program. Not everyone wants to spend $200 for a bass fishing rod.
  19. Crome shad, firetiger, red craw.
