  1. You sure have a funny way with words then. Anyway, horizontal plane? Like a spincast design meets baitcaster? The Daiwa thing, your talking about the T Wing design? I haven't looked at one real close, is the worm design the same as any other reel except for the guide?
  2. Wow, I'm not shooting down ideas. No need to be nasty. Your supposed to be a moderator, uncalled for. I'm trying to figure out how that would be done. US reels did it with a open level wind, and that's the only way I could think to do that. What way would they be able to do it with a closed loop like on a regular baitcaster setup. If someone would be able to do that they would be rich. I Google it, and I couldnt find anything like that on a baitcaster. If you have a link I would love to see how that works.
  3. Spinning reels do it in the sense that it goes along internally with design being the length of the reel. That would be one wide baitcaster.
  4. I don't think it would be possible to seal a level wind on a baitcaster due to the moving guide.
  5. Its the small ones you have to watch out for, lol.
  6. Here in Florida? Are you having an out of body experience? Lol.
  7. Its also good on steak, lol.
  8. On my spinning rig I use 30# braid with a 12# YoZuri leader. I make the leader about 12-15". Retie is no issue, only takes a minute.
  9. I use Yum attractant, it seems to be pretty good. Also, mixed some Yom and spike it Chart. Seems to add a good touch.
  10. That's how I flew a kite when I was a kid. Used my Curado200B and 12# Stren. You really feel the flex of mono doing that.
  11. If you go in the Oak and 441 one, let me know please.
  12. I too sold a Bantam Curado, but it was a 200. I let it go because it was just too big for my hands. I had that reel since new from when I was 12, back in 94. Just recently found a 100B here in the market. Its now my new daily user. I love these reels.
  13. If your trying to stick to the same price range, then the Carbonlite or a Compre are the best choices. I love my Compres, soo sensative I have to wait for a second tap to verify that its a fish, otherwise I would be setting the hook on water current, lol.
  14. Yeah, its was VERY slow up there. Only caught a few. Saw a lot of pros running around up there prefishing for next weekend.
  15. Its got a good strong backbone, but its not that sensative. I would go for the Compre
