  1. Shimano Citica200E7?, I want one of those. That reel must be worth some money, lol.
  2. Love me some buzzbait action. Orderd some Megastrike buzzbaits Friday with my jig refill from BTD during their sale. Had some room to fill to get my free shipping over $50, so I figured I would try them out. I will post on here how I think they do/hold up. I usually buy them when I can find a good deal due to they get pretty beat up with me. Actually didnt buy them due to the brand, saw the picture first, then I clicked on it, then I noticed the brand.
  3. Spinnerbaits, crankbaits, worm and jigs. To be honest the M Vendetta is a very versitile rod.
  4. Im not telling what I voted for.
  5. You mean like the way Shimano makes the Chronarch, Curado, and Citica, and Abu, Lews, and BPS dont? lol. I had to.
  6. Went out yesterday with Martin, we snagged about 50 fish all together. Most in the 2# range, but it was a fun hour and a half.
  7. I tried it just for kicks, but didn't notice anything.
  8. Mostly I buy new baits when replacing what I've lost or damaged. That being said, I will buy what I am replacing, plus buy an alternative to experiment with. Usually its when I'm browsing through the store. If its something I have seen on TV, I will look at it myself and see if I think it will work for me down here. Alot of what I buy is based on the looks of the bait, and how I think it will perform based on the looks, since you can't exactly test them in the store. The last lure I purchased based on a commercial I had seen on TV was the Chug Bug back in the 90s. I had to look at it for myself, and turned out to be the best purchase I ever made. I still use it today, a little beat up, but I just keep replacing the hooks and Chugging on.
  9. I believe most line guides even in the reels are ceramic now days.
  10. If you are familiar with using a baitcaster, then tie on the 50# PP and use a leader. Otherwise, I would look into a cheaper line to start with, like a Yozuri 12#, or a Trilene Big Game 12#. I like the YoZuri better because its stronger and doesn't seem to break or get weak if you get a birds nest that kinks the line.
  11. I have a Cardinal reel. Good spinning reel. Actually looking to sell it because I don't really use it anymore.
  12. Pretty cool older reel. I bet it will still catch fish.
  13. Miami=North Cuba.
  14. Regular Power Pro.
  15. I personally would bump the line to a 12 or 15# myself.
  16. Maybe you should try a Hawg Handle on a Shimano Curado, that will change your mind, lol. But seriously, I dont get paid to plug Shimano, and they dont get paid to plug HawgTech, its just good stuff, and thats why they are here.
  17. BTW, that hoody is comfortable as !@#$. Got one when I had purchased some Revos, its the best thing I got from Abu, lol.
  18. I use them. I think they make for a more comfortable feel. The only thing is they dont work too good on the Shimano knobs that are the larger power grip design.
  19. I use what works for me. Whether its rods, reels, lures, line, hooks, etc. I have tried many of products in the 20 years that I have been fishing, and have seen many different brands evolutions, but only certain ones have proven themselves to ME. Some people hate what I like, and I dont care. Hate me for praising what I like, again, I dont care. I know what works for ME. I will tell you why I dont care for something if you really want to know. Im sure I would get criticized for praising my Chug Bugs that I have had since they first came out and still fish today. I am proud to say I am brand loyal for certain things, because they made what works for ME.
