Now just imagine whats its like being out on a boat, and in 8 hours you have to weigh in your 5 biggest fish. Here at least you have all month. You want to talk about twisted. lol

In order for me to land them I had to pull them out of the water with the "swing" method. As long as they arent in sand and rocks, lol. The one that I caught when the sun was down actually spit the hook as soon as I got it out of the water. I jumped for it as if it was a fumbled football, lol.

Here are my 2 for today. Both 18"s. Lizard and Flappin Shad.

Gee, and I thought my reputation was bad, lol. I CANT TAKE ALL THIS PRESSURE!

I think Im gonna try and hit a spot if the weather is good this afternoon. I have caught some good fish there, and I need to apparently get some better numbers. Sunday was fun and caught plenty of fish, but now its time to get some kickers!

Where do you usually fish?

I was thinking of making one, but Im gonna make it so that every inch is really 1/2". I figure that's the only way we Southern boys are gonna beat those Yankees, lol. Hey Mutt, I really like that. You should seal it so the water and slime coat of the fish doesn't get sucked in. Its bad enough we got people laying the fish in sand, rocks, and everything else that is going to cause harm to the fish eventually. Im just saying.

Yeah its pretty hood in our canals down here. Hell, the Bass are soo rough and thug, I went out fishing once and a Bass stole my wallet. I carry a gun just because of that one fish. If I remember right he was chillin on a couch drinking a Corona and smoking a Newport.

Them Central boys should be killing us in the comp. Better waters, cleaner and more abundant of baitfish. It shouldn't be much of a contest. Look at AK and his North territory, they are loaded up there. Most of the fishing down here is canal fishing, and if you can manage to get into the flats. The clean lakes are where its at.

Wait......are we talking about fishing? lol. Here was the scenario: We got to the channel about day break. Started throwing the frogs (hollow) into the weeds and stuff. I didn't really notice any movement from the fish from that, so I decided to start throwing a buzzbait. I got a little action from fish, but noticed that they were just a little too slow, and they were more or less swatting it. While moving along I noticed the fish schooled up pretty good, but were very finicky. Once we reached the first off shoot canal, I reached for the spook rig. I got the fishes attention with that, and they were tracking it pretty hard, but very hesitant to attack. Once I figured out the cadence that made them just beat it up, it was all over from there.

LOL^^. I wasn't in my Fishouflage attire yesterday, but still close. Martin was in T-shirt and shorts. AK, to your previous question as to what spook I use, there is only one, Zara. Was knocking them dead all morning with it.

Heres the pics of yesterdays catches. I measured then had Martin shoot a pic to give you the image. Not too bad like I said before. Had company last night so I couldnt download then, but I wasnt too far off from what I thought I had. Ended up with 85.5". 2-17", 2-17.5", and one 16.5. Its had to tell on some of them the sizes when the tails are curled and jaws are lifted for the pics.

Well, Martin and I went out this morning for a run on the boat. New motor did well for us. I caught a bunch today, Martin didn't do too bad, he just had a tough time keeping them on the hook. Overall a nice morning out. I had one blow up, but missed the lure. I would guess it was close to 5-6#s. I caught my 5 biggest this morning on the spook. They were very slow to bite, and did more tracking than anything else. I think my numbers are around 82", will post pictures later on. They were bighting pretty good. Showed Martin what tournament fishing was like using 8 rigs, lol.

lol. ticks me off that now I am going to have a faster motor, and cant get out to a park to fish. Oh well, looks like I will be swimming around in the c-14 system this Sunday.

Local tourneys. He was banned from all clubs and tourneys in the area. He was stuffing the fish with sinkers. He got caught because the fish was coughing up lead weights while they were trying to weigh the fish. Dumb ass.

If this ever happens here, thou shall be banned.

Tomorrow I get my new trolling motor, Sunday I go floating for some monsters. Gonna be a iffy day depending on what the weather has in store for us down here this weekend. I will be frogging it HARD. Since I will be able to get around a lot faster now, hopefully this will help me cover some more areas faster.
