At first I though...meehhh carp...haha It was a bit comical with us standing there yelling "BLACK SENKO.......".. ripping off the Zoom Trick worms and getting the Senkos on. Hearts all thumping and trying not to spaz out. I tossed it back to a fallen tree toward the back of the area because the Zooms wiggling in their faces freaked them out. I was originally targeting lazy winter bass enjoying a quick meal when the sun was out for a couple hours. I struck out, put away the Avid Medium setup with the Curado 50E and grabbed the UL spinning rig. Wandered done the trail to the brackish water between the river and the overflow canal. 80s?.. Reminds me of Northern CA weather. He was ugly and made for a good challenge amongst the limbs and stumps. Take care..enjoy the weather before the humidity hits ya! Jenn

But for the average person either phone is fine. My Galaxy S went into Perry's Landing Marina in Erie as I saved a Bass that decided to shake my jig out of his lip as I dead-lifted him over the rocks.. That ended out being a $500 bass and at 2 lbs was not worth the rescue. Lesson learned - Otter Box for phone or net the fish.

We've had both. I am an IT professional and prefer Android platform phones. Husband has the iPhone. I vote iPhone for limited technical savvy folks. Although J Franco has the iPhone which is perplexing. This is a bit like the Chevrolet OHV vs Ford OHC engine debate...apples to oranges.

Gentlemen...you NEVER, EVER want to fully understand our psyche. I appreciate Happyhappa's contribution 100% but to try to understand female psyche.... Is as difficult as reconciling quantum physics and general relativity...at least string theory has a couple constants. :-) Honestly, our center of influence and control goes as far as our OWN psyche and that is challenging enough. Understand yourself. Self-awareness is critical. Our propensity to attribute behaviors to others is directly proportional to how we understand ourselves and our emotional baggage we carry around. As an example, I may have personal past experience where I have been questioned about what I spend money on . Perhaps I grew up witnessing my mother nag relentlessly my father about money. If I am not aware of the impact to my psyche then next relationship, my boyfriend simply makes a statement about what I have bought and I recall the past and apply my emotional response to this situation. I have applied erroneously previous situational emotions to an innocent query. Guilt is always a great one to seek external justification on. Again..own it... Understand yourself and then you can seek to understand others.

It is a Pac Bay Minima reel seat/micro guide rod with a reduced stripper guide but not micro size where the Mojo uses Batson Forecast Al 2 O3 Aluminum oxide guides and a Fuji reel seat. The handle is neoprene which for some may be okay, but as an old school gal...I dig cork or naked blank. - personal preference. The rod runs, as stated, $150s to $170s compared to Mojo it is a step up in the St. Crox series. BUT research what you're getting for the price and warranty. With the Avid you get a lifetime no questions asked warranty..for $50 and a letter of explanation you can get a replacement even if your buddy snaps it in half in the SuV rear hatch. As a lady who is an angler, I can be just as guilty of spending and just as guilty for questioning..perhaps it was a moody moment for you both. 5 years is invested time you will never get back. Keep in mind the law of diminishing returns. Being an educated college student you should be able to see where this law is applicable to your scenario. If not, time to spend more on books and less on gear! On a side note, open honest communication is the foundation to any human relationship. Ask her once again her standpoint.
