Leave the external dial at 1, and are you using an overhead casting stroke or sidearm? Overhead goes much farther for me. Also if you are using a great casting lure try to go down to one brake.
I used to own a Citica E which from what Ive read performed as good as the Curado 200E except with light weights. Id still get the Curado I all day long. I fish from shore so the extra casting distance is great. I have a few high end reels and I say go and pull the trigger on one, you wont regret it. Performance on par with the much more expensive Metanium.
I didn't even know of this model.. I googled it and the combo looks sweet. It looks to share the caenan/curado g frame which I handled at bps this weekend, and it is super comfortable to palm. Almost bought a G because it palmed so good lol. Nice review.
Thanks for posting this.. a couple of observations, the mono appeared to be as invisible as the flouro except when the mono was moved to the right side of the tank where there was more light. I was hoping he would put the flouro to the lighter right side of the tank but he didn't. They appear to have equal visibility when shown against the rocks of the tank. Did anyone see the same thing or are my old eyes tricking me?
I'm going to give flouro a try on a baitcasters for the first time. Im trying due to the reports of it being invisible underwater. Is this just a myth as well?
The great thing about a situation like this is that you will see what the difference is and appreciate a better reel more after you've started out with a lesser one.
Yeah this is a ridiculous entitlement mentality. I worked retail at a chain store that had a ridiculous return policy(Eddie Bauer). It was ridiculous how much the customers abused it.
I actually think they look great.. There's just enough color variation to balance things out and none of the monotone color of the 13 reels. Doubt ill buy one though.
