I live in middle TN and I've been fishing this lake for almost 6 months. I had decent success in the summer but not much this winter and this month had been pretty bad. The lake is a fairly large man made lake that's high pressure and water temps from 51to 54. The water is pretty clear. I've been throwing black&blue jigs,shaky head worms,medium crank baits, jerk baits and creature baits. I'm averaging about 4 fish a day but thr problem is I can never find a go to bait or pattern to fish. It seems like chunck rock walls are we're 60% of my fish are comming from. I would like to know what you guys would look for to fish in my situation such as what kind structure would you fish,depth,etc and what baits?

Today I broke my steering helm on my 99 skeeter 186sx and to top it off my trolling motor started to smoke at the top head unit then smoke started to pour out of the plug. I took the plug apart and both wires are chared and after taking the head cover off there's 3 wires melted togeather . My question is where do I go from here ? Any reason this happened and do they sell tn wiring harness and are they pricey ? Thanks

There's a bolt behind the pedal that's a little over a quarter inch in the air would it be safe to adjust it all the way down?

Ok guys I just bought a 99 skeeter 186sx 18.6 feet with a 2001 Yamaha fuel injected vmax 150. Boat runs strong but will only do 59 the guy I bought it from says it did 63 before he got a hot foot installed on it. My question is even if the throttle is only opening 90% shouldn't it still gain Rpms but slowly ? Also it has a 3 blade 25 pitch prop and it gets 5200rpms should it get more?

Ok if you guys where fishing starting at sunrise is these conditions 60 degree water temp pretty much clear water what kinds of bait type and color would you choose to throw throughout the day? I'm going to be fishing points structure and under a bridge in depths of 2 to 14 feet

The only crankbait I have confidence in is a red eye 1/2 rattle trap

Hey guys it's been about 45 here in Nashville during first sunlight with a water temp of 57. What's your favorite bait to throw in these conditions with smooth water and no activity?

Hey guys I'm having a bit of a problem. I can be in a huge school of shad I'm talking atlest 100 yards and once every couple mins the bass will get into the jumps for a few seconds at a time and I've been throwing a poper rattle trap and crankbait and I might only get one for almost a whole hour of chasing the shad. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions to get fish in the boat when you know they are there ?
