  1. Never had any issues with "bird nest" using 20lb 832 on BC?
  2. Share your wisdom, if you use braided line to fish swim Jig and tell us why? I will start, I am using 50lb 832 for swim jigs because any size smaller than 50lb might dig into the spool.
  3. Welcome, Rooster tail is my favorite panfish lures.
  4. Anyone finding them on beds? I am still getting them from deeper water...
  5. zoom fat albert 99.9% of the time along with 3/8 NS swim jig.
  6. I had two veritas in spinning tackle, and misaligned guides on the one that I owned. Chipped paint doesn’t bother me a bit; it doesn’t affect performance of the rod. I sold my veritas this year, and picked up 13 fish *** 7’1 M and 7’1 MH. Those are sweet rods, feels much better than veritas when pair up with the ci4.
  7. Got mine from lensecrafters a year ago, and they have a sunglass sale for 40% off right now. I used to have a clip on for my regular glasses, but I always lose them. Besides, you need a GOOD pair of sunglass to protect your eyes. I am always doing something outdoor, so spending few hundred dollars is definately worth the investment. Plus, it is going to last few years unless it's misplaced.
  8. ohh yeah, 4"inch grub on 1/4 oz or 3/8 oz Jig head. It catches everything in the lake, and got a few turtles as well...
  9. Folks here pretty much covered everything, and I would like to add baby rage craw on the list. If swim jig or cranks are not getting them, then drag a craw will get their attention.
  10. LMAO...that mansion gotta be "fun"
  11. Spinning Bait, or swim jig in natural shad/single tail grub trailer.
  12. FIshed Centennial lake, and Jackson Pond yesterday afernoon. I picked up one with one swimming a Jig, hopefully next weekend is better.
  13. I hate to be the add ball on this, but trick worm will not float so I like them on T-rig or wacky. Robo worm works pretty well on shaky head, at least for me.
  14. Not sure how to define "best lure", but 70-80% of my bass were caught using Jig or Swim Jig.
  15. Fat Ika is awesome in shallow water, I haven't had much success in deeper water > 10feet.
  16. Not in any particular order 1. tackle warehouse: everything except for Jig and soft plastics 2. northstar: Jigs 3. walmart: softplastics(wait until sale and load up for the season). I can get senko, zoom, Yum, sometime ragecraw, etc.
  17. Wait until Walmart has a sale on lures and tackles, I was able to pick up 3 bags of senko for 10 bucks. There were dinger for 1.50 a bag, and most zooms were 1.50-1.75 a bag. At least my local walmart will do this early spring, and late fall.
  18. Tufline supercast 12lb on one of my spinning setup, everything else will be rigged with 832 (add on 3-4 ft of leader if needed).
  19. Not really "new" baits I want to try, but I haven't fish it for a while. 1. Zoom Super Fluke 2. Rabbit Frog
  20. I am currently using 832, but not sure how I can compare braid vs. YoZuri ultra soft. 832 probably will last you few seasons, and it is my primarily line right now.
  21. you are going to need KVD line conditioner, I have hybrid on 6lb and 8lb. It is a good line, but need to manage the line twist.
  22. When I started it bass fishing, Zoom super fluke does it for me.
  23. New Mexico pretty much killed my bracket, and Davidson lost by 1 point(god xxxx it).
