  1. It is coming up on Feb. 15th, but still haven't find a good place to fish yet...hahaha! I got some good tips on fishing the bay, but I rather fish for Bass.
  2. Went there yesterday, but most of the items are already sold...darn it.
  3. Totally with ya. Paca craw does it for me in the spring, but after the water warms up a bit then I will start using Rage tails.
  4. what are you guys counting for? how many seconds it take to hit the bottom? I mean for crappie fishing, I will either use minnow or Jig it. I would like to give the swimming retrieve a try, am I fishing it like a swim jig for bass?
  5. I am going to give this a try, and just retireve it slowly.
  6. Agreed. I got a BPS crappie Jig Kit for 20 bucks, and I just cast them out near the timbers then twitches them a bit.
  7. Seriously, I like to use LC because it works. Do I want to pay 15 bucks for a lure? Definitely not! But I catch more bass on LC, so I'll keep buying them.
  8. I was referring to the comment "you aren't serious about fishing unless u spent 500 or more on a combo"
  9. Says who? My brother spends at least few hundred a year on fishing gears, but he goes out less than ten times a year. Money has nothing to do with this...
  10. I have caught many bass on a drop shot from the bank, and one advance I got is that use straight tail worm. It doesn't matter which brand but i like robo worm, and it will reduce your line twist.
  11. looks like Susquehanna to me
  12. I have fished several pressured lakes, and each lake is some what different. I don’t think there is a go to bait that will work for ALL pressured lakes. For example, I will throw a NorthStar finesse Jig which do work in some of the lakes. And then, I will throw a rage tail on certain days and it will catch bass. For me, there isn’t any bait that will work every time.
  13. I will be going to San Francisco for a week long business trip, and staying at the hotel close to the airport. I was wondering if there are some decent spots, where I can land a bass or two? Planning to take my travel rod, and a box of tackle with me. I will have a rental car, but don't want to drive too far. Any info would help!
  14. looks good, this is at black hill?
  15. Gift card is definitely a good idea, or buy from a local tackle shop but make sure the item/s can be exchanged.
  16. Looks awesome, time to play with the new update.
  17. Doesn't meant to be off track here, but I want some of those STEEl action...one day I am going to drive up
  18. Wal-mart only got zoom products, but i have seem senkos once every few weeks.
  19. And where did u buy yum for 1.89?
  20. Wow goose, u got yourself a mini bps going on there.
  21. I have always used 18 to 20 lb Fluro for my jig fishing, but i have bought 50# power pro for next year. I have never used braid, so let's how it goes.
  22. might as well just fly there, if you are going to pay that much for gas... just curious, what car do you drive? Hummer?
  23. I am going to try to make it to this event, how’s the fishing arragement made? For someone who doesn’t own a Bass boat, do we just pair up with someone or rent?
