  1. OMG, I can't believe I forgot Zoom 4' fluke and fish weighless. I started bass fishing with it, and need to go back to it. I rarely get stuck with it, haha.
  2. What is the depth? The bank I am fishing at is 7-8 feet deep, and I use 1/4 oz swim Jig. Lost 1-2 Jig per outing (5-6 hours), so I think you need to change technique or location.
  3. 1/4 oz swim Jig, or sqaure bill cranks. If you want to slow down, then Finesse Jig/Craw trailer works for me.
  4. Line conditioner is not going to make a big difference for braided lines, I still use it because I have a leader on 80% of the time. If you are going to fish pure braid, then you can do it without the line conditioner. Someone correct me if i am wrong, but I don't feel any difference.
  5. 60% backing, and 40% braid. It is long enough for 2-3 casts, then use KVD line conditioner and it will last you years.
  6. 150 yard spool with 50 yard as backing, then fill 100 yard with braid. If you are think 100 yard is not enough, then I would practice with BC using cheap lines to get confortable. You will get back lash once a while, but I have used 832 on the same spool for two seasons and only had to retie leader on it.
  7. You can put a piece of tape on the spool, so it wont slip.
  8. Bass doesn't taste too great, I kept one and never again. Crappie or Walleye is a different story, yummie...
  9. Swim Jig w/ zoom fat albert, or KVD 1.5. Once I find the fish, then slow down and work the area with soft plastics.
  10. I have filled my spool 1/4 full with cheap lines from walmart, 1000 yard for 5-6 bucks then tie braided line onto it. I will use FC leader if needed, and its been working pretty well for me.
  11. Braided line on everything, and use a leader if needed. Use some KVD line conditioner, and the spool will last you years. Just remember to use FC leader in clear water, and dont set the hook too hard.
  12. I like hometown boy Evers, next in line is Iaconelli (he will do great if he calms down).
  13. Never happened to me as well, what brand FC line are you using?
  14. I use Cabela's tackle backpack, it is very durable and it can everything you need for a day trip.
  15. I have used Veritas for two seasons, but definitely not my first choice for "most sensitive" rod.
  16. x2, best way to learn.
  17. I saw your name, and immediately I knew you were going to say BPS gears. Haha
  18. My best gear is not necessary the most expensive gear I own, but I can't fish without my polarized sun glass made by WileyX.
  19. If you are looking for a Finesse Rod around $100, my choice will be Mojo MBS68MXF.
  20. There isn't a "best" trailer for Swim jigs, but my favorite has been Zoom grubs. I have them in different colors, but I have loaded up on Rage Tails grubs this year. Rage Tails always make good product, so I have confident on them.
  21. Dick's sometime will have them for 2 for $10 bucks, I have fished YUM and Big Bite senko type worms. It works pretty well, definiately check them out.
  22. WOW...MARK!!!
  23. I am putting down my stick baits this year, and fish more crankbaits & swim jigs.
  24. Don't remember if they had a spring sale, but TW will do a sale for most major holidays.
