  1. In stained water and murkey water, the water depth that light would not penetrate much is prob around the 15-20ft range. In absolutly clear water I wouldn't know prob around the 500ft range.
  2. The way I fish the, I use a barrel swivel this helps the bait from rapping around the line and a leader of about 2 feet. Color, baitfish and white ice.
  3. Depends, if your bouncing it off the bottom that's as close as your gonna get mimicking a crawdad. I have had better success with the bright red crawdad rat-l-trap.

  8. Silent are good during spawn, after that you have to take in effect how the rattle will help you through: Rain,cloudy-days,wind,and deeper water, the rattling will trigger a bite for sure.
  9. Most definitly, especially if you are after the big ones, me I preferibly like to fish a lot of structure during the post-spawn, a fluke is a most or your favorite swim bait....if they are not in the trees I fish deeper like 8-10ft most all summer, extremely good fishing and oxygen levels at this depth. Humps or ledges that are close to the channel are also great places. Morning and evening are your best bets.

  13. As long as the plastics are in an air tight compartment via a plastic bag, it will not matter, as long as the baits aren't exposed to a long spand of unwanted fragrences.
  14. It's not easy at first,NOTHING is, but the time put into something you love is priceless.

  19. If you can view the pond in the UV protective sunglasses, you still may be able to see if there were bass beds,if so there are probably some mothers in there....the dads might be deserted....
