  1. Venom, both my boats have breakers that will trip if they get too hot. After waiting a few minutes, they reset after they cool. I was having the same problem as you with a 30 amp breaker, went to a 50 amp and haven't had them trip yet. The only time mine would ever trip is when I was on the TM full power for a long time. I'm not sure of the brand, I bought them at a local boat dealer. If you want, I will see if they have any in stock and their price.
  2. I have 2 motor guide pro series trolling motors, 1 on bass boat (ProCraft) and 1 on a john style boat. I love to fish shallow but unfortunately have nailed underwater stumps with both motors :'( The result is that both shafts are slightly bent. Is there any way to effectively straighten them? If not, is it possible to replace just the lower shafts? Nothing else is damaged on the motors. Thanks for any assistance!
  3. http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/bagwell/bagwells_bass_tactics_22.html> Above is the link I was sent for the first article, when I click on it I get a BR page that says "Bad Cast" the page dosen't exist anyone else getting this?
  4. I'm going to continue to refine my finesse skills. Last year I started using a drop shot and finesse worm on a jig head more. It really paid off on the tough days. Heck, I love to whack em on a power presentation like everyone else, but last year was a tough one around here, hot temps, little rain, made for many difficult days. Just looking forward to new season, no matter what the conditions.

  6. I have a Tracker Grizzly 1648, wouldn't go any smaller. It's stable and has room to move.
  7. There is definately something awesome about a Lake Erie smallie rocketing 4 foot out of the water 3 seconds after you hook them in 20 feet of water. It's incredible how fast they can go from the bottom to airborne in no time. I have hooked both LM and SM in deep water on a drop shot and in my experience, the SM tend to rise in the water column quicker then dig for the bottom. The LM tend to stay deeper, then rise as they tire out. Of course, there have been exceptions! 5lb SM vs 5lb LM, I would go with the SM as harder fighter.
  8. I attended BMU in Cincinatti OH, 2004. I saw KVD, George Cochran, Dion Hibdon, Shaw Grigsby, Mike DelVisco plus one other I can't remember. KVD, Hibdon, Cochran, were awesome! Would rate others as good. Dion is absolutely hilarious puls very informative. KVD, just plain awesome all the way around. Cochran was also awesome as a teacher. Only thing I didn't care for about the whole weekend was I kind of got tired of certain pros really hammering their sponsors products to us, but heck I guess that's what their paid to do.
