I don't fish there too much this time of year it's time to be on the chick, been trying to convice Bill of this for years! In all seriousness, Bill is a very good fisherman and def knows waller mill well. DarrenM and AndrewS both described the lake well. I like the idea with the senkos in bait, and the overhanging trees are great for skipping baits under them. Good luck

justin apfel, I created an account just to reply to this so hopefully you do well in your tournament. I have over 15 yrs experience on both the river and the lake. Not sure which one you are referring to but I'll give it a shot. If it's the river fish any wood on the main river. The pads will have some fish too, I always fish the wood. If it's the lake, fish around the eagles landing location. RatLtraps, senkos, spinnerbaits, etc. Can't reveal the exact locations but I know that the eagles landing area is holding fish right now. It's right near the ramp, just put your trolling motor down and go fishing. If you're coming out of ed allens go up lake till you see the ramp. Takes me about 5-10 mins in my boat, but not sure what kind of boat you have. Either way should be worth it. Fish the cypress trees, grass, pads, etc. You should be able to stay in that area all day. If you can't get on them there, work your way down toward ed allen's. Good luck!
