  1. My PB was hooked twice within 5 minutes. I t was durning the 2nd Roadtrip at Lake fork. I threw a trick stick near a stump and hook a fish, fought it 3/4 way to boat and broke off. I knew it was a large fish so sat down composed myself, tied on another hook, put another bait out of the same bag, threw back to same stump. Hooked another fish. when it was landed it had my hook and bait embedded in its mouth. Weighted 8 lbs 9 oz. Kelley

  6. Kelley- Has getting it in the right hole been a problem for you? ;D (You had to expect that one) P.S. Link didn't work for me either. No problem if it is a 3 hole lure Ken. Kelley
  7. Great looking bait Bobby. The only thing I don't like about them is having to guess which hole to use. With the Silver Buddy you always get it in the right hole. Kelley
  8. When Jack "Buddy" Banks retired from the Railroad in the mid '90s he turned the business over to his son Kendall. Kendall had a nice setup in Flatwoods KY where the Silver Buddy was made. I was in his place in 1998. Kendall passed away from a heart condition a couple years ago and Jack moved the machinery to FL where he had retired and resumed making this bait. I don't know what brand hook are being used now but will soon as I ordered a dozen. If they don't suit me I will change them as I do with most of my baits. Kelley
  9. Let it fall to bottom on semi slack line and slow roll near bottom. Fish paralell to weed lines. Rip out of weeds like a rattle trap. Kelley
  10. I just learned the Original Silver Buddy is being made again. Jack "Buddy" Banks of Flatwoods, KY invented this lure. In the mid 90s he retired and turned the business over to his son Kendall. Kendall passed away and the lure was no longer being made. Jack has come out of retirement and is making them again. In my opinion it is the best cold water Smallmouth bait ever made. Here is a link to his website. http://www.silverbuddy.com Kelley

  18. My computer is protected 7 ways from Sunday so spyware is not the problem. Kelley Not sure, then I have no issues what so ever. You guys might want to try running a registry cleaner. Only problem is you lose all your logged in passwords. Registry Mechanic or CCleaner are all good choices, all free from Download.com or I'd be more than happy to share my full version. I have TUNE-UP UTITILIES and run it on a regular basis. Kelley

  24. Microman, here is a prime example of what the monster loves to chew. Can you correct Kelly's sentence? Plain talk is easily understood Mike as you know I have no problem doing that. Kelley
