  1. Dear Readers: I mostly fish from the shore. Lately, I have been thinking about getting myself a “FishFinder”. However, I am not sure which one to get and how would it work from the shore? The main reason for usage would be to give me a BOTTOM STRUCTURES AND DEPTHS. (I am not really concern with fish whereabouts) I am seeking some recommendations and advice? If you have one, could you please recommend/advise and share your experiences? (My budget is nothing more than $300.00). If not, is there something else that would give me bottom structures and depths at simultaneously? Thank You.
  2. I normally use baitcasters for lure that’s ¾ oz and higher, but I would like to start fishing more fluffy lures and I am wondering if spinning equipment (rod/reel) are really that superior for lures that’s 1/2oz and less….
  3. quick follow up, With the spinning set up how far (yardage wise) can you cast those 1/16,1/8,etc. lures? and what length rod do you use ? Thank You.
  4. Good Afternoon, I am about to start fishing from the shore myself. I assume, you use spinning equipment (rod/reel), my question is how far can you cast those "1/16 , 1/8 and 3/16 or 1/4oz are my most used weight sizes". If you could please give approximate yardage distance and what length rod do you use Thank You.
  5. Hello Folks: I have a question; I recently have been introduced to perch and other pan fish fishing. I also adore slip bobber fishing. I would like to get rod and the reel for this type of fishing. Why is everyone suggesting spinning rods and reels for pan fish and slip bobber fishing techniques? I have used baitcasters in the past and I am pretty confident using them, but I would like to know why everyone is recommending spinning reels. Whyare spinning reels superior when it comes to pan fish and slip bobber fishing? Please, explain…. Thanks Ahead.
