  1. Are you using this line on a spinning or casting reel?
  2. Sounds like you know what your problem is then..
  3. I have never used that line so I can't comment about the quality of it. But KVD Line and Lure works wonders on most lines.
  4. Sounds like the same thing that has infested a lot of the KS lakes. If you are positive it is not your gear, then it has to be something in the water.
  5. What part are you looking for?
  6. No shame in that game, you are far from the first angler to ever use something because it had the "WOW" factor.
  7. It is an interesting theory and one that seems like it would be useful for top water, wake, and shallow diving crankbaits and possibly medium depth crankbaits in very clear water conditions. Outside of this the color red is largely not visible underwater due to light refraction and penetration. A fluorescent red color would have the ability to be seen in deeper and less clear water, but in many cases would appear as pink or orange. Just as a note, fluorescence and phosphorescence should not be confused.
  8. The fish could be used as food by someone you say could and would use it properly, anything outside of this is waste in my opinion. There was no gain to be had by leaving it to float.
  9. My head hurts......
  10. Why do you believe that red hooks would help a bass be more accurate with his strike? I don't follow the logic.
  11. I see some guys using red treble hooks on the front of their crankbaits, I have never heard the reasoning or logic behind it, someone want to educate me.
  12. White jigs work well for nesting bass during the spawn, they can be used in other situations to imitate a dying or fleeing shad. While they are not the color I use even close to most often, I have had some luck with them.
  13. I have moved to all spinning gear for the mentioned techniques.
  14. Embarrassment, often shows itself in the form of shock or anger. Don't sweat it you gave them an honorable way out of the situation, it was up to them to choose to use it.
  15. Sharp ones
  16. Hygiene is a choice, if you choose to be dirty, I choose to not be around you. It really is that simple.
  17. When we start taking our children to little league bass fishing practice, then there is a chance that we are as big as football, baseball basketball and soccer. The average person can't quite grasp the thought of professional bass fisherman, fishing from 70,000 dollar boats with 10,000 dollars of electronics, and powerpoles, 250HP engines that will push them near 80MPH to race to a weigh in or their favorite fishing spot. Then what really seems odd is that they weigh the fish and turn them ose But that same person has no problem turning on the tv and watching their favorite sports figure who just signed a 100 million dollar 5 year contract throw, shoot, or catch a ball. Sorry but we are small in comparison to the big three.
  18. I can buy that tech. makes the difference. The D series retailed at 199 and Chronarch MG was 249. 199 was about a 70 dollar increase in price over the BSF.
  19. Wasn't the G series made in Malaysia, seems like it retailed at 159.00 when it was released. There were several things in the G series that were downgraded from the E and when both location and cheaper parts are considered it was only 20 dollars less expensive. Something still does not add up to me, if labor is significantly cheaper seems like that reel would have been available at a lower retail price. What I am saying is if they had to reduce quality and move production to Malaysia to produce a reel that retailed at 159, how can they produce a reel that is 20 dollars more and be significantly better than E.
  20. Total IPT discrimination...
  21. This brings up something interesting that I have been mulling over. So, the Chronarch E came to be because as Shimano explains the weakening US dollar, and it could no longer produce a reel that had the same quality as the Curado E for the money. The name was changed to Chronarch E, they changed the paint and double anodized the spool and handle and raised the price to $199 US retail. Now comes the the Curado I, with some innovative features and it is argued to be the best Curado to date. What I find interesting is that didn't Shimano themselves tell you that they could no longer make a reel that was the same quality as the Curado E for that price, yet the Curado I is less expensive so how could it be better. Something does not add up....
  22. very kool.....
  23. This has made me a serious proponent for cremation...............
