  13. Well until today I thought I knew how to catch 25 lbs but after today I'm reconsidering. My best advice is to get you a couple arigs rig them with skinny dippers the 4.5 inch models find a creek ledge intersecting the river ledge and cast and count it down till you catchem . Everyone is casting at the bridges so I'd like look in different locations for the same opportunity unless you like big crowds
  14. What tourny you fishing? Don't go to muddy creek unless something changes a bunch caught 12 there all day Thursday nothing over two pounds all my better fish have came from the midlake area on crigs and traps if you like fishing with the crowd get you an a-rig and head to south sauty bridge
  15. Nope but I'm branching out to more tournys

    6Mm Remington

I personally only use that round out to 250 yards any farther and I carry my 270 weatherby magnum or my 30-378 its all personal preferences but if you can pull it off more power to you

I use hornady 87 grain v- max hand loaded with 43.5 grains of IMR 4350 its a good load not quite a compressed load but almost it fills the case almost to the neck

  21. Two week ago on guntersville we had sustained winds of 35 mph and that one old boy put 32 lbs in the boat I had to use two drift socks and motor on high just to stay in one spot didn't catch but 24 lbs so if you can stand it and you have the equipment go if not be a fare weather fisher the biggest thing is if your not havi ng fun stay at home no sense in not having an enjoyable outing
