  5. I will say quality gear helps keep down mechanical problems but that's about it. I love bass pro shops brand gear because of cost verse use equation .They last about two or three season the way I use them but there cheap enuff I can replace them as needed. My friend is a high dollar man he has the best of the best and I still out fish him.
  6. I always start this kind of spot with a deep crank and get the most active then follow it up with a jig or c-rig when they stop biting those I fire them back up with a big casting spoon. It almost always get them going again .As mentioned early be careful not to pull the school to far from the structure. It will go dry for a while let it rest for an hour then start back thru the lure progression
  7. Take it easy Eric it takes a while for my prayers to get there.
  8. I'd use a Bobby Garland blue ice lam shad bait on a ultra lite spinning setup with a 1/32 jig head on 4# line .if there three foot deep cast and count to three before reeling .Reel as slow as you can as to keep the jig from riding up in the water colum. If there deeper than ten foot I'd use a 1/24 jig head Just cast and count it won't take long and you'll figure it out. . .
  9. The biggest factor where I fish is where the most of the bait is during what period of the day it is.In the mornings I'll find bait and fish on the inside and as the sun comes up they tend to hang on the outside and during the mid day they will be in the cover. With that said my primary forage is shad and I'm sure where the forage is different the conditions will be also.
  10. Airport Marine the best in alabama I carry my boat there all the way from up here. 205-664-0407 I call set up a time drop it off go to the tackle stores for a few hours and pick it up then head home.Same day sevice is awesome.

  12. Try a senko cast parallel to the bank t- rig weightless work your way around the pond doing this and I'm sure you'll find one. Road warrior has a good article posted on here about this tactic search for senko related articles and I'm sure it will come up.l
