  1. Big ez's in either copperfield or melon shad.
  2. 4.725 pounds
  3. I like to use a hollow body frog working it slowly has been the key for me. The other lure I like to use is a gambler big-ez with a belly weighted hook with a screw lok in the nose. The screw lok allows the front of the bait to have more movement and action.
  4. WOW I thought we had a great day catching 51 with the five biggest probably around 18-19#. We fished till noon caught most before 10 . We fished out of belle glade.
  5. My son and I went out of slims today and caught 51 bass mostly 2-2.5# 4 of them probably went 4# or so by noon. Nothing really big but a fun day.
  6. What part of Stuart ? Are you closer to Jensen beach or closer to Hobesound?
  7. Vero about an hour away also has some decent outlet malls.
  8. What are some of your wifes interests?
  9. Northend of lake Okeechobee would be my choice. Your still fairly close to istopokga, lake june and lake kissimee. The coast is only 30-45 minutes to Stuart which has some of the best snook in the state. Ive lived in Stuart for close to 30yrs.
  10. Nice fish its always a good feeling when you set the hook and they dont budge. I have found a couple of ponds I never know about on google earth. My son caught a 9# in a little pond he found on google earth.
  11. We caught all of our fish in pelican bay. The fish where pretty concentrated once we found them all of them in about 300yrds of grass.
  12. See my post below call Big O is on fire. Fishing has been great since the storm better then bofore the water came up.
  13. My son and I went fishing today out of belle glade and caught 75 bass by 12:30. Mostly 2-3 pounders a several around 4 and the biggest was 6.5#. The fish where pushed up in the grass and got them on topwater in the morning and big ezs after 9:30 or so after the wind picked up 10-15 mph. It was nice being the only boat on the in area didnt see a single boat all day.
