  1. Nice fish, sounds like a good time. The calmness of the water with the fog looks cool! Thanks for sharing.
  2. chrome or gold lipless, ghost white cranks, black buzz baits, pear or sexy shade, with chrome blade spinnerbaits, black/blue chatter. 1/2 oz-3/4oz should be all you need. Good luck..
  3. Nice report. Last few times I hit up U.S 27 the deeper finger canals produced bites but the main canals Zero. They had the Flood gates open so water was flowing pretty good south..
  4. I would stick to the central FL area. Harris chain, Kissimmee chain, St. Johns River (crescent lake), Public access rock pit lakes. The spawn will be in full swing and you will probably have a better chance of a 10lber up there then further south, especially the everglades.
  5. Look on google maps, Like Lou said, the canals are endless around here. Look out west like Pembroke pine, Miramar, Weston if your looking for spots in broward but close to dade.
  6. Ebay has what your looking for. Also check out Bitters Bait. They don't sell bulk but they have awesome prices..
  7. Those are some solid fish! WTG...
  8. Check out the brands Pathfinder, Hughes and lake and bay if you have not already.
  9. Try fishing by Glades rd and the turnpike for peacock bass.. or any water that connects to the lake osborne/ lake ida water system
  10. lo n slo, ever target LM on Norman??
  11. Wow 8.5. thats awesome. For urban waters thats easily a 10bler. I wonder if she was in prespawn mode..
  12. Welcome to the forum... Anywhere you can wet a line is a good spot. Unless your fishing in a fountain in front of an apt complex there are tons bass to be caught around here lol. Seriuosly though Sunrise and the surronding cities have endless spots to walk and bank fish. Like others said look on google map to pick out some spots then go out and hit them up. Are you having trouble getting bites or hook-ups? What type of set-up are you using? Texas rig is a great technique to use around here. Stick bait, crawdads and 7.5 worms should do the trick. Slow and patience is key, especially around times of cold fronts. Top water baits can be used just about year round also. Main kinds are prop baits, walk the dog style, and frogs hollow body and soft plastic. If you want to speed things up a bit, try throwing a weightless fluke. Their deadly around here and fun to fish, especially when the bite is on.
  13. Nice report! Glad it was productive..
  14. Welcome, S FL. is a great place to fish. What patterns have been working for you? Any pics of the fish you caught?
  15. Im just guessing but the surface area of blue lagoon it self, cant be over 50 acres. The canal system is were most go for pea's because once the jet skiers are in blue lagoon fishing can be challanging. Also, If this is your first time down there I would suggest bringing live bait with ya.
  16. I frequent the Huntersville area.
  17. Power poles dominate the tournament circuits, hands down. Just take a look at the elites or flw tour pros boats. Only a handful of them have a talon, compared to PP's. Theres a reason why and no, not cause of being sponsored by PP. lol
  18. Cool pics! Thanks for sharing.. Looks like a nice place to slam smallies..
  19. totally worth the $$$!! Imo, lol. I wanted to go to but can't swing it this year. TomorrowLand in Europe looks like the ultimate festival to go to. I've gone to UMF miami a few times and that is redicilous from the beginning to the end of day 3. EDC VEGAS looks pretty good to.
  20. hard jerk baits, suspending style..
  21. white jerkbait
  22. Dubstep is ok, Skrillax throws it down, but EDM??? Oh Ya!!! Hardwell, Afrojack, Axwell & Ingrosso etc... :respect-059: Most people cant stand any electronic style music but I can't get enough of it!!
