  1. I'm assuming your hearing these clicks with the motor turned off and out off the water. The clicks your hearing means the throttle lever is in gear. Make sure the lever is in the neutral position. The clicks should go away. The noise SHOULD be normal IF the boat is in gear. Props make that same noise as your moving and you turn the boat off while it's in gear. try that first.
  2. 60 fish by noon? O.K That's is, when we going fishing???? Nice Job Bruce, your on a roll!
  3. matter of fact I went down there this a.m. I only managed 1 peacock on top water and 1LM on a yozuri. Caught a few bluegills and cichlids as well. The area looked promising but . I also did a lot of exploring since it was my first time on this particular water system. Sending pm now.
  4. That is a monster snook!!!! ya, that area is prime time snook fishing. Nice transition with the boats to. Whats good about that boat is you still can go bass fishing. That is a win win in my book.
  5. This is what FWC says about it, "Anglers are encouraged to kill any snakeheads or other nonnative fishes they catch other than butterfly peacock bass, since they help control over-abundant exotic forage fishes. Anglers can either eat nonnative fish or give them to someone who will. This will help reduce their impacts on native species." I'm not gonna get into a debate over the subject since everyone is in-titled to an opinion but based on fishing west broward urban canals for 25 years, I can truely say I've seen a depletion of 6+ lbers as well as amounts of bass where snakeheads have been found. Mainly Tamarac and Coral Springs. Just sayin
  6. wal-mart has some stuff.
  7. Not sure of a guide, but the nearest big lake by there is lake Douglas (great fishing). I'm sure you can find one in that area. Good luck

  14. Skinny Dippers, 10in. worms or live shiners. if your going to fish 2 days, I would go down to lake kissimmee one of them.

  18. Ya, did you weigh her? Nice job! The way it's been overcast these past few days I was wondering what type of bite was going on out there. Lake looks calm.
  19. Yup, I use a horny toad as a trailer but not always. Oh and sometimes I take the skirt off.
  20. offset, either to right or left. Usually there is some sort of handle on the front (middle) of john boats. Don't want trolling motor or handle to get in the of each other. They make adapters to mount on the front, then mount the trolling motor to that.
  21. Darn, I wish I was on the lake right now. lol
  22. I'm not sure if anyone suggested it yet but you should register as a marshal/observer in a elite event or something similar. That way you get to see with your own eyes how the pros fish. It's a great experience and you will learn a ton of stuff!
