  1. Nice!! Sounds like a fun time! Good to know the wind didn't turn the bite off. I don't throw a chatterbait nearly as much as I should be lol. They catch quality fish and are good here in So FL. Where you using a trailer on it or throwing it bare? Did you see any spawning beds? The finger canals off US27 are loaded!
  2. I've got 4/5 guys fishing tomorrow! I picked chad Morgenthaler and Edwin Evers too. 16 29 37 49 56
  3. The bass should be in some stage of the spawn.
  4. Nice one, Wurming!!
  5. That's awesome! Artificials make those catches even more special!
  6. Saltwater "no motor zone" that thing would rock! Freshwater, no so much ..lol
  7. Nice bro!!! Live bait?
  8. It's all about the $$$....
  9. So it's that time of year again, when BPS has their free Spring time Bassmaster University seminars. Looks like the Dania beach BPS will be hosting Ott Defoe and Takihiro Omori, Feb 17-18th.. Anyone going?
  10. OK sooo, who already has Tharp on there list to? lmao
  11. The water was real clear but every once in a while it was a lil murky. Wouldn't you know they were in the middle making of beds!! Real cool stuff! I was using top water also, hoping to get a monster bite but not takers. Although, what Jake said, I to kept getting bit bye tilapia/cichlids..
  12. Nice reports fellas!! Sound like the glades are heating up! I saw them bedding out there a week or so ago, Only fish a few hours but was able to pluck a few of some beds. Biggest about 3-3.5 lbs.. All we caught on wacky style baits. I didn't catch numbers but it was fun playing with them, One of them I hooked twice and lost it. marked the spot and came back later and caught it!
  13. Yup, I picked Walker too... Who would of thought Crochet would wack-em on day 1 to take the lead. I'm impressed with Wiggins. He's on a roll!
  14. You can always sign up to be a Marshall. That way you can see first hand what exactly they are throwing and techniques their using.
  15. I'm ranked 20,000+
  16. I have a few of the mojo rods. Throw big Alabama-rigs! Nice score btw.
  17. Done.. I have family in New Fairfield, will give them a heads up to.
  18. As far as security purposes, I dont think there is a difference out there as opposed to other ramps. I wouldn't leave anything valuable in the vehicle anyway. I've seen broken glass on the ground at the ramps on the alley and in south bay at lake O. I still fish them too. FWC seems to be out in the general area of holey land then most spots i fish in the glades. People target practice, hunt and go on swamp buggies through out the area. The ramp parking lot itself is used by others who nature walk, bird watch, motorcycles etc. So there is other activity besides just boaters. Although in the scorching summer less people are out there lol. The check station is for hunters..
  19. I would be looking for bass spawning this time of year. Senkos, worms, jigs, and topwater frogs are great to use..
  20. I would go to lake O. FLW just had a tournament there. Check out the top baits used. They were mostly moving baits as flipping was the least used actually. A couple 10 lbers were caught as well. Most guys went NW but the winner, I believe stayed south somewhere..
  21. Nice report! Did you see any beds? What color soft plastics were you usuing? When I went fishing the other day, I wanted to hit up Holeylands.. but knew I would be fighting the wind from the east the whole time. Figured a canal going north south would be better fit for the little time I had. Sound like I should of went anyways.lol
  22. Lox is a cool place to fish... Glad everything went smooth the first time out. I graduated from a John boat to a bigger bass boat too. Total game changer lol
