  1. Kids go back to school this Thursday, maybe we can get together fishing sometime soon.
  2. I will be on East Grand Lake with my Kids until Monday and could use some tips to get them into some fish. We are camping in Trout Cove on the Canadian side and have tried the thoroughfare for pickerel and only had one strike. I really want to catch some bass and was hoping someone can point me in the direction of where to go and what to use. I am thinking of trying some 3" senkos on a drop shot rig in 20 to 30 foot of water. Any ideas as where to go and different tackle tips?
  3. i fished a tourny on Sebasticook about 8 years ago and we did pretty good. I haven't been back but plan to this year. I have good luck on Hermon in the spring catching black crappie but haven't had much luck bass fishing. Etna hasn't been very productive for me either, but I want to try it more because I haven't really had time to give it a good going over. I usually go to Stetson (Pleasant ) pond, I have done ok there but again usually am in a hurry and don't really get into the fish, but I know they are there. My boat is a 14' Starcraft with a 35HP Johnson and a Minn Kota Powerdrive bow mount trolling motor, and 3 fish finders. I have to admit though I really need help using the fishfinders better. When I go fishing I usually have the kids and am pretty busy tending to them, changing lures, getting them unstuck, etc. I am definitely up for getting together to go fishing, we will have to make it a priority.
