  1. I'm exactly the opposite, if I only could fish senkos, I'd probably just stay home. They're just so boring to fish.
  2. I've caught a few simply using them as a jig trailer. They work!
  3. I think I got skunked 6 fishing trips in a row back in the Winter.
  4. Hard jerk baits, even after pledging last year to get good with them, I still caught nothing on them through Fall and Winter. I've never struggled with any other technique as much as I have hard jerk baits.
  5. And he was something like 22 lbs ahead of 2nd place, I've never heard of anything like that.
  6. I'd agree with that.
  7. I had about a 6lbs Largemouth absolutely blow up a buzzbait last year, by far the hardest, loudest strike I've ever heard, I'll never forget the sound as long as I live.
  8. Welcome from a fellow Bluegrasser!
  9. Two hands virtually all the time, more natural for me, and one nice benefit is that I find it less tiring over a long day fishing.
  10. Anything from Robin Trower.
  11. I use it all the time for walking baits, works fine for me. I could see how it might have issues for poppers, but I honestly never had a problem there either, though I'll typically fish a popper fairly quick. It certainly dosen't sink fast like fluoro, it will float for a few seconds before it very slowly begins to sink. I personally like it for topwater.
  12. That sucks. A rough season getting rougher, I really expected more from the Brew Crew this year.
  13. I'd go get a second opinion from another Dr., a doctor can be wrong, just because one thinks you don't need surgery, dosen't mean another will say the same thing. When I was having back issues, three different Drs, told me three totally different things.
  14. Yeah, it may not be needed, but you guys have to admit, they will sell them like hotcakes. And that's what it's all about.
  15. Glad you guys like the pics, I wish I'd have taken more, it was hot though, and I was moving through them pretty quick near the end. If I hit another show this year, I'll try and step it up. C4 ZR1s are still quite affordable, I've seen very nice ones in the $17K range, and they were low milage cars. If you ever do decide you want one, you may want to do a little research at a place like Corvette Forum, or ZR1 net registry because those cars did have some very common issues with Fuel Injectors, windshield delamination among others. The injectors are the big deal, they don't comply with modern ethanol fuel, and must be changed to aftermarket injectors, which is a pretty big job, and those LT5s had 16 fuel injectors too! The cars that have already had that work done are the ones to seek out.
  16. ] This little Cobra replica was a hot one, had a 383 in it, owner claimed over 500hp, and it sounded like it.
  17. Some non Vettes too: ]
  18. Nice! I still lose sleep over the rear end styling of the new C7.
  19. That was a 96 collectors edition actually, not a ZR1 unfortunately. I think it had over 100k miles, and he still wanted like $15k. I didn't see a single C4 ZR1 in the whole show, and I was even keeping an eye out for one, I love the C4 ZR1!
  20. C6 ZR1s too!! I was talking to the owner of the second one, and he said I missed an Orange ZR1 that was there earlier!
  21. C6s were even better represented:
  22. I was pleased to see that C5 Z06s were well represented, I've got to get one of these, the bug has bit me BAD now.
