Thats great!!! I'm sure if u caught a 6lber there is atleast some more the same size if not bigger. And even if i have a pic my friends and family always say i could be holding someone else fish.

Yea it was the first time i have ever been this close to a helicopter filling up. I ended sending the pics to the news channel and they made a slideshow for the case and added my photos

This was also my first bass on a jig. blue and black strike king with black with blue flake yum craw trailer

Today i went to a small lake/pond with my bros friend. I was fishing a senko but decided to throw a jig while pedaling up stream on my float tube. One the first cast, while reeling it in i felt it get snagged and than a fat tug. I set the hook and the fight began. He fought hard of a medium sized bass. I guessed a little over 3lbs what do u guys think? p.s. he was a little over 17 inches It was the only fish caught by us. We were about to leave and my friend said look at this! We jumped out of the truck and ran to the opening of the pond. We saw this. The was a house on fire a couple miles down the road. The craziest part is we were right where the helicopter is we were right there 10 minutes ago. He was only 30-40ft away.The helicopter soaked both of us but really did make our day out fishing.

Hi im Dakota i am 16 and live in lakeside, California. I have been fishing with my dad and brothers but recently started fishing more with my brothers friend.. I Fish for largmouth bass and fish on my float tube. Luckily i have a local lake that i can walk to. I would love to learn a lot of tips and tricks on this forum and hope to be a veteran member

HI im Dakota and im very new to this forum. I'm 16 and have recently starting bass fishing hard core. luckily i live right down the street from a pretty nice lake that Ive been float tubing. My dad told me he is going to take me to lake Henshaw for the weekend. I was wondering if any one of u guys go there often or have been there what tips do u have? any best spots? what lures worked for you? Thanks in advance and this forum looks awesome and i hope to learn a lot.
