  1. one, two just feels weird
  2. well actually the only thing i've caught there was bass. the only downside is the park hours, 8 to 8. so they close when the good fishing starts. but i have seen some monster catfish swimming in there, and some giant *** golfish or something. goodluck
  3. well i really do topwater fish, i use the rubber worms/grubs, and cast out and start slowly bringing it in. and i mostly depend on the fish hooking itself, i dont think i've ever set a hook. well thanks everyone for the replies.
  4. if you have the space, why not.
  5. well the ugly stik has high reviews, and its durable, so im not sure what could go wrong with it. Its not like im shark fishing.
  6. This is my 2nd rod/reel, because i just bought a cheap one from wal-mart to start out. It broke, of course, so i went looking for a better one, for a good price. I looked around and Shakespeare's ugly stik had high ratings and was cheap, to i got that for a rod. I went down to a bass pro shop and the guy reccomended me the pflueger president. It has a 10 bearing system, and overall looks really nice and i got it for just about $60. Do you think its a good setup?
  7. i live in vegas, there's not too many places. The one i go to pretty often is tule springs/floyd lamb park. it has about 4-6 small/medium ponds that are good for shore fishing. If you are just getting dropped off, the cost is only 1 dollar, but if you want a parking space its 6. ill give you a link to a website. http://www.lasvegasnevada.gov/TextOnly/Find/12095.htm
  8. thats what i thought, so it wouldnt hurt a saltwater reel in fresh water tho?
  9. Well i have a freshwater reel, and im wondering what the difference is with a saltwater reel. Could i use my reel in saltwater?
