  1. That day I purchased the 7ft MH Microguide Veritas to answer your question and 7ft Medium Microguide Carbonlite rod n reel combo I put a citica I had on the Veritas with 65lb Suffix My previous rod was a 7ft Berkley Lightning Rod (regular) I also had a 6ft6 field and stream tec spec but I returned it a while back I havent really used the Veritas enough to see if I like it. Once I hit my normal frog spots Ill know. I love the carbonlite combo tho. The reel is smooth. My citica feels clunky compared to it and its supposedly a much better reel. (shrugs)...Maybe it will last me years. Im not really used to having good equipment so Im moving forward slowly..My primary was a 5 ft 6 17 dollar diawa walmart with mono combo for a long time. I can actually feel since moving up from that setup. I spend a good amount of money on eating out from restaurants, started to cook more so Ill put that in a jar for more equip For at least a month, unless I buy the wild black version
  2. If you dont want anyone knowing that you bought a new fishing rod, make sure you buy it in black or a dark color if thats what you normally use. ^^Scenario^^ *steps out of car with micro guide veritas* (gleaming white) hey you got a new rod (from my dad and my friend on back to back days), then came 21 questions Who got it for you, how much did it cost,, then....What...you spent that on a rod!,,,,yadda yadda...It looks nice though they both complimented To my friend: its a gift from my dad for xmas to my dad: I used giftcards No more questions after that, let me fish in peace But I actually got 2 rods and a reel The carbonlite went under the radar which I dont know how since it was paired with that odd colored carbonlite reel, but the rod isnt really flashy so I know what to buy if I have to make a secret purchase So if you need to make any secret purchases buy something that will fly under the radar, especially if its out of the norm for you

  4. I hate the craws when they come back clawless
  5. New extreme looks like the prolite special that they make. I tried it and returned it(prolite special).
  6. Had a prolite spcial combo, trash...returned it for the carbonlite micro combo
  7. Drop an update once you wet the line
  8. 7 foot 6 @ academy Falcon BuCoo Gulf Cranker 7'6" Freshwater Casting Rod Was: $79.99 Now: $59.88
  9. What camaraderie
  10. I dont even see them for sale on any sites...all say out
  11. They never restock them, Had major success with one of the shad colors...I caught 6 bass in less than an hour, which is unheard of for me on lipless cranks. I lost the bait one day and cant find it again =(
  12. I have. Great frog, I left a review on another site. Worth 599
  13. hula popper
  14. I had the same question in my head, this thread was made at the right time
  15. I one day plan to match all my clothing to my rods and reels abu revo sx and vendetta with black and red air jordans and outfit
  16. They annoy me at times...not the ugly usual Florida ducks, but he pretty ones...they chase baits, make noise and follow me to the spots I relocate to. They all came down for the winter and took up residence in my normal local spots. I like them but not when Im fishing
  17. I lived somewhere for 8 years before I caught something over 5lbs...might have been my choice of baits or the fish have finally grown. Ive caght 4,5,6 recently in my neighborhood
  18. concept looks interesting
  19. Its back on the site again, still not ready to ship tho. They have the combos listed with the microguide rods. Maybe they fixed that guide problem
  20. Not at all. I bought the one pictured and cricket frog color. About to hit the local pond in a few, hopefully with more success.
  21. Used it yesterday, did not catch anything. I did have about 5 blowups from various things in the time I did use it, miss bass strikes, small fish and turtles. It walks great and the rattle is loud. Will try again today, great for 3.99
  22. Picked up 2 of them today. Cant wait to use them tomorrow...maybe even this evening. Not a bad looking lure for 3.99. They are much slimmer than I thought they would be. Hopefully they walk well. Much less expensive than the 35- 50+ dollar Moreau Rebel Frog Moreau
  23. same experience
