  1. I can see people dropping 50 for that handle but once you have to buy knobs you might aswell buy the hawgtech handle since its roughly the same price, assumingly better quality, extended and not mass produced
  2. Initially I had reel seat problems as people said but once I adjusted the reel it screwed down tightly and doesnt move as it should. The rod, I love it, its probably my favorite rod and people always compliment it. The only downfall is the grip material IMO, I wouldn't call it durable and its kind of weird if the handle gets wet but it wouldn't deter me from buying another
  3. A whole lot can happen in 20 years, if it were a month ago or so, more precise answers can be given
  4. I wouldn't exactly say junk, The price of the handle is more than I paid for my(all new) PQ/revo sx/citica e/carbon black/carbon lite The price is more than I'm willing to spend but the fact its made in the USA, it looks awesome, it can make a nice upgrade to a reel is great and its cheaper than the JDM offerings for those that are willing to pay for something like this.
  5. maybe some line conditioner would also help the situation
  6. Looks nice but is it priced to move? If it costs almost as much as another reel, id rather buy another reel.
  7. Its good and if they were in tapatalk id be even happier
  8. I may finally try this on the weekend. I saw some other nice canals near it too
  9. frogs mainly Ive bought, I got a mouse that died on 10 casts but I returned it. I have a trap that was given to me that's great quality and catches fish. The detail on them is impressive. I may buy a few craws at DSG, those are 5.99. I cringe spending a grip on baits. They work but the looks catch us before the fish.
  10. its warrantied and can be returned, rejoice
  11. PQ because its new, discounted and you can choose either 4 or 5 ratio for cranking. The winch comes in a 5 ratio also, has more drag power, stronger internals and a bigger handle, but its going to cost you way more and its not a primary use reel for you that justifies the difference IMO. 2 PQ in your situation = 1 winch if not discounted 40%. You still can get 2PQ for 1 winch if at the clearance of 159.99 price No brainer to me, lots of money left over to spend if you choose on cranks, line, etc if you choose after buying 1PQ. I have one PQ that I bought a few months back and I love it, I got it on sale but not 40%. Id probably have bought 4 if so when I had the cash. I wanted a cranking one also but they had none in stock when I bought the 7 ratio. Ill end up buying the 5.2:1 when on sale again and I have the money to spend. I have a gen 2 revo sx and I prefer the PQ more honestly.
  12. mettle ...warrantied for life I believe
  13. my fishing advisor is worthy a shot or just type in "fishing" into the play store search
  14. you may want to wait for the bb1 I believe it will be in both retrieves all ratios I have the mg in left hand but 7:1 I can try throwing a 1/4 oz trap on it to see how it works out
  15. try some canned corn or make some dough balls (youtube recipe)
  16. my mom would fry that up something fierce
  17. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/46281-panama-city-beach/ I know my friends in that area fish more saltwater than anything but maybe this thread can help slightly
  18. Maybe the fish dont like your worm
  19. I started right and went lefty, I prefer it (4 reels now). For some reason I still want to buy a rh one again just to have one in case im injured or something
  20. I lost a 5+ fish in front of my lady the 1st time she went fishing with me, it broke my line and stole my red eyed shad. She was so excited when she noticed the fishing rod was bent into a J and then seeing the fish jump 3x. I have finally gotten over it.
  21. There is a super target on okee and 441, the lake in the plaza is pretty big and has lots of shoreline. There are bass, bream, chichlids, bluegil, etc in it. There is a park off of haverhill rd heading towards beeline hwy that has plenty of water and bass
  22. They would need a cab to get back to the water from where they were throwing them. If the animals dont eat them, then you will smell them stinking up the area. When I use to dispose of them in the bush they would be dead within the hour covered in flies. The only time I've seen one get into the water is when they come off of the hook right on the shoreline or slide down off of an incline.
