  1. For me it is, I like getting my lures back from trees and other areas I end up casting into around canals.
  2. He is working on that. Last time I did he won, parallel to the bank he was on.
  3. You've never tried racing a buzzbait against Usain Bolt?

  5. as stated Powell endurance is about 124 shipped from the place he quoted above for the 714 model is a good all around rod1/4 to 1oz or the 725 if you want a slightly heavier powered rod 1/4 to 1 1/2...they have a lifetime warranty. The rod is normally 170 elsewhere, like on tackle warehouse. The *** black is a good rod also at 100 dollars for a 7ft1 mh, if you have a gander close by you can try one off the shelf
  6. My dad caught a few with it, biggest catch being a soft shelled turtle unfortunately. I used to get confused trying to rig it because it has that big rubber notch on it.
  7. I need a boat...ond day very soon
  8. Im sure I will love it, they cant get it in stock fast enough.
  9. There are peas up as far as Palm Beach. The heaviest population is in South West Broward county and even greater in Miami areas. Someone I know has a spot in Boca for peas but I have no Idea if its east or west, he did say he caught a ton of them with a client. Someone should be able to help you the boat answer, tons of boaters on here. I am a bank fisherman so I have no idea other than john boats, kayaks and canoes.
  10. Z man makes zinkerz out of elaztech
  11. You could probably use any reel you own, your setup you want to throw isnt that heavy in all honesty. I threw a heavier a rig with a 7 to 1 PQ and had no problems, it didnt create much torque. 5 or 6 may probably be more ideal due to speed...
  12. Mojo feels uber heavy for some reason. I prefer the veritas.
  13. Funny this was on my feed this week
  14. Good thing is I should have my arbor shortly as it comes off of back order so I may start the adventures soon. Ill wait so I can save some coin. I tried fishing today and it was god awful again. I think the fish in the local lake left when they drained it. I may try a few spots in wellington this week or just go to where my father lives. If I cant catch a fish in there Ill retire fully.
  15. as stated above, peas are part of the cichlid family
  16. Youll probably have a new rod within a week
  17. Looks like you are ready to dislocate some jaws
  18. Im still striking out. I lost one of my northstar jigs to a rock. I then lost 2 fish on a wacky rigged senko, tried some new hooks, might me my fault how I set the hook. I only fished for an hour under a shady area. This is my longest slup of my career. I may have to take up catfishing or move over to salt for a while. Between having a cold, some of my lakes turning to poo and it being so hot out I may need to find a new past time like making tackle vids on youtube.
  19. If you want something priced less than above You can check out the *** omens at gander 7ft1 medium is 100 7ft3 medium is 120
  20. I been in a slump, I need a Heat game 6 miracle within the next week to be in contention.
  21. With the scorecard(if you used it at the purchase).... you can look it up online also, print/email it, which would give you proof of purchase for abu. The warranty is 3 years with abu. I had a rod warrantied with no receipt before that was a gift and I didn't even pay the $9.95 fee they usually charge for shipping. You will also probably get to keep the broken rod. You can even get the tip repaired on that locally cheap and come out ahead. Ive never had any problem with their service, its been nothing short of excellent with me.
  22. Ive bought their stick baits and have had great luck with them, I usually buy them in the sale bin at Gander
  23. If unhappy with it based on length, do they have any shorter lengths? Most people will use a 6ft6 to 7ft3 for general fising 6ft6 to 7ft1 mainly the most generic, general all around advice is 7ft mh
  24. I was at dsg and handled the lexa and the symetre The lexa feels smooth and solid. The bail flipped over effortlessly with the handle. It made me consider buying one for inshore use. The symetre felt good but the lexa had a better overall feel that was noticeable The supreme looks good (havent handled one) I think it was 119, the symetre was 109 they give you 20 off with a used reel and you can add another 10 dollar coupon to it. Im sure itll much cheaper on the auction site tho(the stradic fj is 130 on there) They may have them in store in your area for you to test also, its not real world but it does help along side online reviews.
