  1. Which one is the bluegil?
  2. entirely for legal purposes. Should hold up in court.
  3. Lets get a bass action suit started for dexteritirial discrimination
  4. Its pretty good but you may want to buy 100% fluoro then. YZ is cheap enough to try though since its 10 bucks to see if it works. You can use the red label as leader, it works well for that if you also have a braid rod. I may be trying Invizx/abrazx myself since I need to respool The YZ is/was actually 13 for 600yds at sports authority but they seem to have been putting them on clearance in many tests for 8-10 bucks.
  5. Its a good medium, pretty good all purpose line. I didn't like red label either as main line, much better luck with BPS. The YZ is about 10 bucks for 600yd spools on ebay or at sports authority, not much of an investment in comparison to buying under 300 yards of YZ for 11 bucks at Bass pro.
  6. x2 Id take a carbonlite over a vendetta any day I also switched to LH, prefer it, night and day difference for me.
  7. I caught about 5 dinks yesterday. My dad caught a 1.5 bass which was the biggest of the day. Nothing worth measuring
  8. If all else fails get to practicing for the olympics
  9. The 20lb fluoro is on sale at gander for 9.99
  10. Thanks, Ill hold off until weds from buying the line. Ill be near bass pro then, may have better choices than what I have now.
  11. Its a strike king hack attack jig 3/8th oz with a berkley pitboss trailer. That hook wont bend and it seems to get through vegetation and algae pretty unscathed. I believe walmart sells them but I got it from Dicks Sporting Goods a while back. I have some northstar jigs but havent used them enough to know whats up I had great luck with all terrain tackle football jigs from Gander Mountain. I caught 9 bass on them in one day in rocks which is my record jig fishing. I was using the football jigs
  12. I'm on the board with a dink
  13. I'm looking to respool my reel. I have 12lb bps fluoro on it now that was taken off a reel with a lower capacity. I was thinking I should step it up a bit. I can get 15,17 or 20lb and was leaning towards the 17lb. It will either be invizx/abrazx or BPS XPS, leaning more toward Abrazx/BPS due to a rocky lake I fish about 25% of the time. I heard the invizx doesnt have much abrasion resistance but handles well. The other 75% of the time Im in grass, sand and lilly pads so I figure the added line strength will help when Im not using my braid reel. Ill have some left over for leader material for certain conditions also. I've never used a line over 12lb in fluoro and 15lbs in mono, so Im not sure how fluoro handles in higher tests. I was testing a reel with 12lb YZ on my jig rod but the fluoro seems to give more feedback. Ill probably buy line later today with any recommendations, thanks. Extent of my fluoro usage red label 12lb---broke on the spool a few times as main line but works as leader BPS XPS 12lb--Had a break off once on a 5+lb bass with a red eyed shad but I believe the knot slipped when putting my finger on the spool to stop the drag(my fault). No problems since. Works great at the rocky lake on jigs. I put it into good line category.
  14. Ill goto Publix tomorrow and measure a bag of chinese tilapia fillets to get on the board

  16. Where are you driving from? I went fishing in the Kendall area in alot of complexes in canals and caught some fish on foot.
  17. Powell's are 109 at the fish ranger, they make a flipping series. Slightly more with shipping but quality.
  18. Are you looking at the actual 7ft10/11 flipping rods or smaller?
  19. I see people hop out the gym bathroom not washing their hands, it disgusts me. Ive seen someone come out of a stall from dropping of luggage and walk out without washing hands, post flush. Humans are downright nasty sometimes.
  20. I'm living vicariously through your pics and tales as I have nothing going on. Soon that will change.......
  21. Why? Hes like the Ultimate Warrior of Fishing when cutting a promo
  22. He is misinformed. You can print the page and bring it to the service desk and they can get it sorted out. I bought a combo from there once and the guy went into the catalog to get the correct sku to ring it up at the regular fw fishing desk.
  23. Since you are in Miami, you may have a local place selling the Omens, Gander in west palm sells them but thats a bit far from you. Shipping is free and faster than ordering from Tackle Warehouse but youd pay tax since Gander is in Fl. I have an *** and a carbonlite, the *** is nice and sensitive, but IMO the carbonline handle is more comfortable overall and has a longer handle. Im 6ft3 so maybe its due to my handsize. I get some irritation after a while from the *** so its my Jig rod now since I wont be making 1000000 casts frog fishing for snakehead. You have basspro near by so its easy access for you to get a combo and customer service is pain free. Id suggest seeing if a local shop sells an *** and then seeing if you like the feel of it. Id probably get the combo just because of ease, the rod is nice and customer service is issue free.
  24. Did you use the pq already or has it been bought? If you buy the pq and carbonlite as a combo you'd save some coin. If not proceed with other options that you choose.
