  1. I use the trilene knot, you can limit the tag end wasting very easily.
  2. Im going to install a sensometer on all my rods to see which is the best!!! I always thought this review was hilarious from TW Just received the 7'6" XH Nano. WOW! I thought the Co Matrix was sensitive, but this rod is incredible. The Megaphone technology sounds good but I was skeptical on how effective it really was. I can tell you this: This rod is so sensitive, I was able to clearly feel a distinct "Hum" vibration being transmitted through the rod that was picked up by the TM on low at the other end of the boat. Incredible.
  3. I heard its the NRX of films!
  4. you must have soft hands I love my veritas rods, the abu warranty dept has been great from experience.... I haven't snapped any rods, but ups did.

  11. Superglue/mendit will fix any rips on the booyah and mendit will fix torn soft plastics that aren't beyond repair
  12. I dont know what to tell you except turn the brakes up high, even with a loose spool you shouldnt be backlashing. My gen 2 sx is a backlash machine unless I baby it or turn up the brakes 3/4 of the way up. I keep the spool tension super loose, just enough to take out side to side play in it. Set the mags on the stx and see, im not to familiar with the centrifugal brakes on those models, but try messing with those also.
  13. If everything is correct, level wind works, drag is ok and spool tension is fine. Try spooling it slow with tension on the line. It happens to me when I initally spooled the reel too fast. I have had to strip the line all the way to the knot and start reeling it in over again. If you can connect the end to something and walk strait back until it ends then it makes it easier
  14. Which reel do you have? (bait casting)
  15. I may go there on Sunday with my dad. We will also hit Jupiter inlet. My friends have been catching 40+ inch snook which would be awesome.

  25. The JM Sigs have fuji K series Guides and different blank material but the rod feels heavier than the carbonlite. The carbonlites use pac bay guides in both models. I have a micro series carbonlite and I like it a lot. Maybe buy some reg guide rods and a micro if you plan to pitch to try it. The 7ft6 heavy micro rod is as light as they come.
