  1. My guess would be Bagley's as well.
  2. I like 10 or 12lb mono or copolymer. Fluoro will make you suspending baits and topwater sink. There are some pros that like to use it for ripbaits though.
  3. Actually, here you go http://www.ebay.com/itm/Shimano-Bantam-Curado-NEW-discontinued-200-201-Spool-P-N-BNT1507-loc-24A-/170767599954?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27c28ac952
  4. Here is the spool you need but it would be cheaper just to buy a new reel. http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/bnt1507-spool-assembly-p-61553.html
  5. Anyone used this new line or plan on it? I just got a new spool of FC Sniper but was wondering how this compares to it. "Sunline Reaction FC is a new fluorocarbon line designed specifically for reaction baits, including spinnerbaits, crankbaits, rattlebaits and vibrating jigs. Reaction FC is made from a new, softer, high strength fluorocarbon material. This new material combined with its unique manufacturing process creates a line that is very supple and flexible, which allows Reaction FC to handle better on your reel. Double resin processing also gives the line outstanding slickness for better casting than traditional fluorocarbons. Also formulated to have more stretch than other Sunline fluorocarbons, Sunline Reaction FC will increase landing percentages of fish caught on reaction baits. With a high specific gravity of 1.78, Reaction FC helps get your crankbaits to run at their maximum depth. Sunline Reaction FC is also dyed stealth gray to help it be even more invisible in any water color." Looks like it may be worth a try next season.
  6. The new crucials are extremely underrated. That will be a fantastic jig rod.
  7. Sammy or Ima Roumba
  8. The new shimano crucials are almost spot on in terms of power.
  9. It will work for jigs but won't be able to throw a-rigs very well. St Croix's are underpowered so a M would be like a MH.
  10. I hope you didn't get kicked out. Taking photos in Walmart usually results in you getting the boot.
  11. Try to get a 6.X:1 reel for general purpose.(X being substituted for whatever number the paticular reel is.) I fish from a kayak as well. I think a Revo S, Citica G, BPS Carbonlite, or any of the Lew's reels will work if you are buying new. If you are buying used then some options to consider are a Chronarch 100B, Daiwa Fuego, Daiwa Sol, Chronarch SF, or a Revo STX. I got my Lews TPH1 for $150 new and it is a phenomenol reel.
  12. Frays easy, fades quickly, makes a terrible noise going through guides, and has poor abrasion resistance. Just what I've heard around other websites though so who knows.
  13. I've heard that it is worse than the regular power pro.
  14. Depends on what size cranks you are throwing.
  15. Mine has the 50% off of .97 but nothing in the store except 2 Mister Twister's end in .97
  16. What is this Chronarch G?
  17. San Diego Jam and Trilene are what I use. Francho always says that when you are using the palomar with fluoro that you have moisten it well and synch it down perfectly.
  18. Use mono backing and then add 50-60 yards of whatever fluoro you want. I just go 1280yrds of Cajun Line for $3.88 and I will fill up most of my reel with that and then tie my Sunline FC Sniper to it to save some money. I can fill up 3-4 reels this way.
  19. Get a 7' MH Lightining Rod if they have it. Should work well for many purposes.
  20. Probably winter.... TW is usually the first ones to get new tackle.
  21. Honestly, I would look somewhere else. I have heard great things about the Veritas but have heard a lot of troubles with the Verdict and Vendetta. Not to mention the warranty isn't great. Maybe you could give a Shimano Compre a go?
  22. I find it a bit more supple but haven't really tested it much http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/95702-p-line-c21/page__hl__c21
  23. Should be fine, mine is bigger than that one. http://www.precision...Tackle%20Outfit Also use this on my kayak.
