  1. Looks like the coverage is in the War Room now.
  2. They are great on a drop shot rig. I would assume that they would work well on a shakey head. Other than that I couldn't tell you.
  3. Jigs always work well. Jerkbaits, Flat-Sided Square bills, Swim Jigs, Spinnerbaits, and Slowly Worked Plastics all work.
  4. 6XD. Best all-around deep crank. I use 10lb copoly or fluoro.
  5. Good rods and I like the color. They are very light, I have an original series paired with a carbonlite that I use for weightless senkos and weighted wacky rigs. I haven't gotten to fish much with mine so I can't really comment on the sensitivity. If you like them the I wouldn't hesitate buying one. I've heard stories of them breaking and e21 having bad customer service but I have never broke a rod.
  6. Another odd colored California bass.
  7. Well if you aren't going to listen to others opinions then you might as well just get it! Save yourself the argument.
  8. I got mine from the same place.
  9. Anything with a white based color or a chartreuse color. A gizzard shad color also comes in handy on really clear lakes.
  10. Shorter rods have more leverage. I use mostly 6'6" rods. My longest is a 7'8".
  11. I like the clown color. I'd get the size of whatever your rod will throw the best.
  12. BPS Performance Boat Seat $22 (Reg $49.99) Tempress Deluxe Seat $75 (Reg $90) Tempress Navistyle Seat $100 (Reg $125) Mostly BPS Spinning rods on sale. Johnny Morris, Carbonlite, Extreme.
  13. It's mostly 20% off of certain items. I didn't see any blowout sales per se.
  14. I am sure most of you have heard about the new Sebile D&S Crankbait being released this year. I have had several on order for a while now. Now my question is, since they have a single ewg hook will a regular deep cranking rod work with them? Will the moderate action on most deep crank rods be too slow to set the hook with this bait or will it not keep the fish hooked? Hmmm..... I might have to use my 7'2" H/F jig rod with these if this is the case.
  15. Pop Max is a LOT different than a Buzzjet. I would use the Pop Max 9 times out of 10 over a buzzjet. It is an amazing lure. The Flap Slap is a good cold water bait.
  16. Pop Max
  17. Yo-Zuri isn't a 100% FC and it floats.
  18. I'm just messing with you. I am a shimano guy myself and know exactly what you mean. BPS is actually pretty good with parts though.
  19. Isn't that a contradiction?
  20. I'd go with mono or copolymer. Some good ones are P-Line C21, P-Line CXX, Suffix Siege, Sunline Super Natural, McCoy Mean Green, and Yo-Zuri Hybrid.
  21. Good luck finding one under $100. The new Powell Diesel may work.
  22. For one it won't suspend because the FC sinks.
  23. http://www.luckycraft.com/EPGLure/BullFish.htm They are a 2 oz. bait so I have no need for them here. Unless I am muskie fishing!
