  1. Looks like every Largemouth I see here
  2. I use a 6.2:1 with no issues and I am not that strong of a guy. Many pros prefer the 6.x:x gear ratios as well.

You're welcome, now I had to delete my first post! I still use one with a grub as a trailer.
  4. Denali Crankbait Rod Clothes
  5. Yeah, you probably should have read the advice given to you here. I would return it but you could use it for flipping if you want.
  6. Invisi-Shad?
  7. It is going to be on fire this weekend! Good luck to you!
  8. You are also going to be stressed while working towards your major. Having a place to go fishing nearby and a bass team can help you relieve stress and make connections that can be used in the real world. I don't think anyone is advocating going to school based solely upon how good the fishing is, it is just a bonus.
  9. I am also a junior considering colleges with good fishing nearby. Clemson is probably the best college with extremely good fishing nearby.
  10. Definitely pick up a BPS Pro Qualifier reel while they are still on sale for $80, I would go with the 6.4:1 gear ratio for all-around techniques. The BPS Extreme rods are good for their price but some do not like the "Powerhump" handle. I would instead opt for the Carbonlite rods which are also on sale for $80. This would leave you with a great setup for $160 plus shipping. If you do chose to buy from Bass Pro Shops online, please click on the advertisement on the right hand side of this website and purchase the items through that window.
  11. Good advice above. I use a light keel-weighted hook to solve this issue.
  12. It is not for everyone. Do I need to mention the reason why many bass pros are sponsored by Prilosec? I am $1500 into my kayak and would take it over any small boat in that price range which wouldn't include a working bass boat. I have very little maintenance and don't have to pay gas. I don't need to own a truck to get it in the water. It can keep you fit and is good for the environment. I can stand and cast just fine without any aids.
