I sent Lew's an email Sunday politely telling them about my problems and explaining I'd love to have the replacement for a tournament on Saturday. 7:35 Monday morning I had a reply saying they would keep an eye out for my reel and they would make sure I had a replacement for Saturday. The brown truck is bringing my replacement Today.

I finally broke down and bought my little Apple family lifeproof Nuud cases. It's nice to know they are waterproof. I use mine in the hot tub almost daily. Funny story before I got the cases I was in the hot tub with my 3yr old and I was leaning over the edge trying to watch honey booboo on TV and I hear my son say "dad, dad" I tell him to give me a minute and wen a commercial came on A few minutes later I asked what he wanted? He tells me "I dropped your phone" :-0

Let me throw this out you may be interested. I have a Kistler 7' micro mag that they call the senko special It's rated as a MH rod but it loads good enough to throw a weightless 5" senko with no problems I'd like to get $90 for it and it's in great shape. I'm not trying to talk you out of getting a m power rod but this May allow you to get a higher end rod for the money...

I hope it was a Lemmon but we'll see? It's on its way back and I hope my replacement is back by Thursday as I'll be leaving Friday for a weekend fishing trip & tournament. They have top notch customer service so I'm betting I'll have a replacement in time. The main reasons I picked this reel were the spare spool and the high speed. I fish the smaller 1000 size reels and a lot of them are slower than the more common 2500 size
