It's going to be a lot of personal preference and trial and error. I like a medium extra fast rod. I also use 12# yo-z or abrazx. Some use braid and a moderate rod.

I worry about the catch and eat guys! A couple years ago the state lake was HOT!!!!!! Now it's dry. Coincident? :-/

I've been wanting to fish that place again. I'm going to have to make a trip out that way soon. How was the security? The last time I fished it was just after 9-11 and they searched your boat on the way in and out. Do you still have to wear your freaking life jacket? Do you still get a pager before you get on the water?
