    I think a lot depends on the kind of swimjig your using. If your throwing big cali swimjigs and 5in trailers I want big beefy rod. If im throwing more coosa river style then I could go down to a mh

    haha yes and the bait monkey does also, the reason I want the shorter rod is because I am mostly a bank fisherman so the long rods get a a little interesting to cast. How do these compare to the max 3d?
