  1. Whichever one feels best in your hand.
  2. Yeah the water is still "warm". It's only at night it dips down that cold, but thank you two for the response.
  3. It has been getting down into the 30s in Kentucky and I have not had a chance to go get my rods and reels out of the locker at the boat dock... Do cold temps affect rods/reels/line any?
  4. There are largemouth, hybrids, some smallmouth. Thanks for the help. I will find some articles. There are also a lot of rock walls. There are very few points, should I fish the points that are there?
  5. It is very rocky, the water is clear, not much vegetation, and the water is very deep. About 30 feet from the shore the water can be 100 feet or so. Any tips are welcome.
  6. Thanks everyone! If I got a rod with a fast action on it, would that be a bad thing?
  7. Thank you for the advice. Also, why does a moderate action matter and why is a fast action as effective?
  8. I have read on this forum and there is a lot lol bit thanks for the feedback
  9. I am wanting to buy a new crankbait rod, $150 range and want a good overall crank rod for shallow, med, and deep diving. Thanks!
  10. i am a fan of many brands in the fishing undustry. just so happens i like shimano crucial (like many others) and i may be buying more of them. if that offends you in anyway, i am sorry? i am not "bi-bolar". if you dont have anything good to add to this thread then keep it to yourself.
  11. no its called, asking what people think.
  12. have not seen anyone mention armalite yet, but i have one and absolutly love it! it has a 20 inch flat upper and a 4 position colapsable stock, match trigger and i would not get rid of it for anything. if the barrel is broken in right they are very easly sub 1 moa. my best group is .58 moa with custom rounds. this rifle has also bagged plenty of coyotes and even a few black birds. very highly recomended from me!!
  13. no i have not. i am probably goin to get a couple and try them out. the cranks have awesome action IMO, give them a try. look on ebay for custom painted ones as well.
  14. i am new here so i dont know how much has been said about them, but i have had tremedous luck with them! the 2.5 shallow in blue gill is by far my favorite! i have a couple medium diving as well and like them the same. anyone else like them as much as myself?
  15. i also have a new wild rod i got in recently and i feel that this will be my last carrot stix. i like them but i may be converting over to mostly shimano crucials. i love them!! this is a carrot stix thread but man, i really like the crucial series, and on ebay you can find killer deals on them.
