I thought the pond behind my house only had small bass until i pulled my pb 8# bass out of it. Try fishin from any stretch of bank that is higher off the water than the rest and fish down through the grass that seems to be the most productive spots for me. Keep tryin there are almost always some big fish.
I use the BPS Deer trail daypack $20. The bottom front compartment holds 8-10 bags of plastics, the top front holds megastrike scent and KVD line conditioner and inside can hold 3 3700s and a camelback all for $20.
I'm looking to stream line my tackle so I'm carrying just the things i use and not everything i own lol. I'm looking for somthing that holds 2-3 3700 sized boxes vertically with plenty of pockets for scents other misc. items for 50$ or less. For my plastics i was looking at the Plano Guide series worm binder does anyone use it and how do you like it?
I like Northstar, I got my first jig fish and PB with one of their Black series and haven't put them down since, but iv heard nothin but praise for Seibert either.
I'd have to say Texas rig is the most effective. It's weedless and you can use a verity of plastics sending on conditions and it can be fished at any depth.
