  1. @Zcoker Awesome stuff man. I really enjoyed reading through this thread. I would like to get your input on some areas. I'm in Miami and will be going to Everglades National Park with my son for some shore fishing. (I know, not the optimal) but are the areas there such as Pine Glades Lake, Sisal Pond, Ficus Pond, and Sweet Bay Pond worth it? Or am I better off fishing the "Trail" and up through Loop Rd & Turner River Trail? Again, amazing photos!!! TY for sharing.
  2. Nice I wish I had a neighborhood pond.
  3. Hmmmmm still waiting on an invite Haven't fished in a couple weeks. I'm going crazy. Us South Florida guys need to get together.
  4. I'll let you know as soon as I break a record. Don't hold your breath my man.
  5. I'd take the record. That way I could cash in on bass record groupies chicks.
  6. That was the general area.
  7. That sounds like a fantastic idea!!! Let's do it! Thanks for the kind words Rick it was a pleasure fishing and hanging with you.We should definitely do a South Florida meet up.

  9. Well I found a website but haven't studied it much. http://www.flbasstournaments.com/May-2014.html
  10. When people get to close I find if I drop my pants to my ankles and sing a nursery rhyme I get all the space I need.
  11. Mighty fish. Congrats to your friend.
  12. Darrell I sent you a PM would love to fish with you.
  13. Right on Nitro!!!
  14. Going by this formula and pictures I took of my buddy holding the fish we estimated the catch to be anywhere between 7.88 and 9.57. So does 8.72 sound fair???
  15. Thanks guys. I just keep reading here and learning. You all have helped me become a better bass fisherman.
  16. Lou I used a Boo Jig no trailer. First time I ever used a jig. I took advantage that I could see about 10' down and kept throwing everything until I saw interest. It was a wonderful learning experience to see what actions I did would cause a reaction in the fish.
  17. Just bought this one on eBay brand new with free shipping for $15.
  18. Well this was a surprise. I could see him in the water and didn't look as big as he was when I pulled out this big'un. I didn't have a scale with me but it was definitely more than my previous PB which was 5. This felt like 10 but can't be sure.
  19. In my research Bass are partial to Lynyrd Skynyrd. They go nuts for FreeBird!
  20. Greetings and Welcome!!! I have learned rather quickly this place is an incredible resource with fantastic members willing to help. Enjoy!
  21. I'm no expert but maybe I can lead you on your way. I don't know if you're gonna spend time in Miami or just the Keys but the Miami canals are a good bet. Peacocks usually only bite during daylight and like aggressive style hunting. Rattle traps work good as well as live shiners. Check this link for Miami and nearby canals. http://m.myfwc.com/fishing/freshwater/sites-forecast/s/metropolitan-miami-canals/ Good luck!!!
  22. Don't be hurt it wasn't meant to be hurtful. The force is strong with you young one. Use the force.
  23. Uhhhh yeah I was just being facetious. I'm changing my vote to Nerd.
