  1. i dont have expereince with the dobyns but i do like the crucial that i have now. i chose it over a st croix avid...i have used the triumph and premier in the past and was impressed so was expecting big things from the avid, but got a great deal on the crucial and actually liked how it felt in my hand better. so i went with that. thanks for the suggestion on the new setup, can you explain your reasoning behind it?

Clear Monofilament my lures: -5" Yamasenko Worms -Heddon Zara Puppy -Arbogast Jitterbug (3/8oz) -Arbogast Hula Popper -Rebel Pop-R -Strike King Elite Buzzbait (3/8oz) -Strike King Tour Grade Spinnerbait (3/8oz) -Rapala Original Floating Minnow (F11) -Rapala X-Rap (XR08) -Rapala Jointed Minnow (J09) -Rapala Jointed Shad Rap (JSR04) -Bomber Model 2A -Blue Fox Vibrax Shallow (1/8oz) -Storm Curtail Minnow (1/8oz) would you guys say the tackle matches the lures? or what other set ups would you use to throw the lures i have?

  4. is the wachusett reservoir good for bass fishing from the shore? ive gone a couple times in the past and only caught small panfish...a bunch of friends have had the same experience. but no one including myself are really saavy fishermen to begin with anyway...so wat do we know
  5. hey guys, im looking for some good spots for all kinds of fish, bass especially. thing is..i dont have a boat so i am restricted to spots that i can fish from the shore. im finding good spots like this are tough to find...anyone willing to share some spots of their own? im in the worcester area, but am often in the boston area as well. any info appreciated!! thanks!
  6. hey guys, brand new to the forum here. got back into fishing and im loving it. im having some trouble finding some good spots tho. i never really had any real instruction on fishing so meeting up with some experienced/knowledgeable anglers sounds like a good time to me. im up for a MA meetup! lets keep this thread moving.
