  1. I have my lifetime fishing license for VA. I pay around $52 for the out of state for PA. $15-$20 to surf fish in NC for week on our trip to the Outer Banks.
  2. You can check Barlow's Tackle. Says the Victory is comparable to the Gamma 604 https://barlowstackle.com/victory-10604bn-jig-hook-sizes-1-0-5-0/
  3. That's my most favorite cookie in the world! We call them "boiled cookies".
  4. Check out the Fish Monkey Free Style Hunting Glove. I don't have a pair but saw this after reading your post. https://www.fishmonkeygloves.com/product/free-style-2/
  5. I wear the Fish Monkey guide gloves that have just the fingertip open. I put a hot hands regular size under the glove on top of my hand and keep the larger super warmers in my coat pocket. This does the job for me and I tend to have cold hands and feet.
  6. Thanks to @BrianMDTX for this great box of smallmouth baits! Well done in your choices of baits and colors! I fish the Rage Tails stand alone and as trailers. The menace grub and craw on a beetle spin/single colorado blade spinner has been a top producer. Senko's and flukes are smallmouth candy. The Bandit 100 crankbait is a must color in the Spring and will fish the jerkbait when all this weather passes if the river isn't blown out. New to me is the swimcrank. Topwater, wakebait, subsurface all in one. Looking forward to the blow-ups on that thing! Thanks again and Merry Christmas! HD
  7. Also check out the stone catties on the Fitt site. They work in the river, I'm sure they will work in your creeks. Rigged like a ned
  8. DT4 or 6. Whichever one you can get to bump the bottom. Bandit 200 should bump in 3-5' as well.
  9. I'm in
  10. https://www.dropzonebaits.com/ Lead but sell in bulk
  11. @Munkin, Allen, you may know him, Ryan Alunni. He runs Northbranch Tackle on FB and makes a sled head. Similar to the weighted hook in your pick but more "weight forward". Al Winco used to make them also, now Fitt Lures.
  12. 4" t-rigged weightless, floating with the current for river smallies is a top producer for me. I've fished the 5" the same way on the same trip and they did not produce like the 4".
  13. Sled heads from Northbranch Tackle. You can find them on facebook.
  14. I'll take a keeper that I use when I pour my own, cut off the bend that is poured inside the head. Dab of super glue on the hook shank, place keeper, a couple wraps of braid or 210 flatwax denier. Then I'll coat with Sally Hansen hard as nails.
  15. Google "Jetski Brian". He fishes the bay and ocean off of VA and now the Bahamas.
  16. Moaner Hooks stick'r pins
  17. WOW! I follow the lodge on social media and enjoy their pics and blog. Thanks for sharing your trip/pics!!
