Mine lasts as I store it in a small frig (dorm room size) in my garage as well as my Loctite gel super glue. Don't know about restoring it if it dries out....
4" for smallies for me. Had some 5", bit off an inch, not the same. Slight difference in profile maybe, don't know. Outfish my partner everytime using 4" when he was uses 5".

No. Melting with heat and pushing them together doesn't work well either. Best way to join/repair that I've found is the Locktite gel super glue and less is best. I've tried several glues and super glues, this does the best job for me.

Laminate is a double dipped tube. Summer Craw starts as a orange tube then is dipped in green pumpkin. When tentacles are cut you then see the blending of the colors. Pro tubes are one color throughout.
