bobby knight is a clown. any grown man who throws temper tantrums the way he does shouldn't be in any position of teaching young men on how to act. period. i teach my son constructive ways to take out the anger and he's only 7. not to throw things around, yell scream and get into people's faces.
people and kids look up to him, and when they see him acting that way and being successful it clicks in their mind that it has to be ok or accepted. it adds to that dogma that if you are good at what you do you can get away with lots of things. he's a buffon for sticking up for tressel in this series of incidents. tressel cheated, dont' care if you think the ncaa rules are childish or not. he's in a profession which are governed by those rules he knows those rules and he broke them time and time again. that's cheating and for anyone to stand by him shows that they too condone cheating.
after all the smoke clears, the next thing the ncaa is going to look into are the autograph collectors. terrel pryor got 40,000$ from one of those guys, his name is the on the checks that pryor deposited into his own bank account. that's pay to play right there. osu is going to get some serious sanctions dropped on them for all of this. but all colleges need to be wary now, because the cat is out of the bag and it isn't hard to see who is doing what around these kids.
