  1. havent been there yet but i hear the white perch are hitting good
  2. i am trying to get out more but fishing alone just isn't as fun, so if you are looking to go fishing in pinchot, marburg, the river, and/or some of the creeks around here post on here or send me a pm. I'm looking to do any type of fishing not just bass also i do have a boat.
  3. i also see gander mtn has the diawa exceler on sale for 40$ any input
  4. idk how to use a bait caster
  5. medium or medium/heavy, and i wasn't planning on salt water fishing. im kinda new to all the details of reels but i want one that i could use up to 15 lbs test line
  6. i am looking to get a new reel in the 40-60$ range i want one that is m m/h. i was looking at the quantum triax 40, any input on this reel or other suggestions would be appreciated.
  7. if you are looking for some cats that will put up a fight but might not be record size go to the conewago it is loaded with them
  8. he tells me to do a split shot rig about a foot of line to the hook and drop it outside a weed bed
  9. Hi y'all my name is Seth i'm new to the site but not to the sport. My grandpa started taking me fishing when i was three and i have loved it ever since. i fish all over the place, i live ten minutes from Pinchot, i love to fish project 70, (lake Marburg a.k.a. Codorus lake) and the Susquehana river, but i am most at home waist deep in the Conewago creek. i live for the nights out on the boat fishing with my friends and hanging out on the lake. i fish to relax, think about stuff, or just to get away from it all. i swear by ugly stick rods and Daiwa reels but mine got stolen out of my truck last season so i got a 6' Berkley lightning rod M/H and a Shakespeare Catera 4535X for Christmas and it gets the job done. the bass i i am most proud of is a 20" 4lbs. small mouth i pulled out of the Conewago. Even though i have been fishing so long i don't have a diverse tackle box it consists of some spinners, a hula popper, a deep diving husky jerk, a couple of lures, a pack of 3" and 4" shaky shad. i fish open faced but i would love to learn how to use a baitcaster i just don't know anyone who know how to use them. i look forward to learning more about the sport and fishing with you guys.
  10. i live like 5 mins away from pinchot and i have been in every cove and fished every deep, i have boated and fished off shore and i cannot figure out how to fish that lake, (except cat fishing thats not to hard) i think i have tried every bait at every hour. (i spent 16 consecutive hours on the boat one time and caught nothing but a 10" largemouth and 2 cat) is there any advice you could give me or any spots you could tell me about i know the lake like the back of my hand. thanks seth
  11. i have a friend that swears by cotee 6 inch super floater worms purple with white spots waky rig. i was just wondering if any one had any input on this because i don't seem to have much luck them.
