  1. What do people mean exactly when they say "i use 10lb mono, and 30lb braid"....Does that mean a leader used for bass fishing? Myself, I use 6-8lb line to fish bass. Just wondering because this is the first time I have heard of people using more than 12lb test for bass fishing. (But I am a novice compared to most on this forum)
  2. Here it is. Thanks for all the input fellas !
  3. Unfortunately I did not get a length, but from now on I plan to purchase a scale. I am going to post another picture of a big one I caught around 8:15pm, was already dark outside. I think it may have been around the same size though.
  4. Actually was a rare occurence for myself, because I pulled this next one out almost in the same spot. About 10 minutes later. Looks about the same size, just wanted to show another picture.
  5. I consider this a lunker, but I don't know about the rest of you. I do not have a scale so really don't know the weight. I would guess in the 4-5lb range. It was caught around 10am, directly behind my house. (canal system connects to to the Everglades) Used a 7inch bright green worm on a 1/0 hook, with a free moving 1/16oz bullet weight, 6lb test. So, judging from the picture, how much do YOU think it weighs ??
  6. My name is Peter, 23 years old, living in Parkland, Florida. Grew up doing tons of fishing in all types of man made canals, as well as the Everglades waterways. (Loxahatchee, Holiday Park) (For those of you familiar with the South Florida waters). Grew up using live bait such as worms and shiners, around 11 years old graduated onto artificial bait. Have caught my fair share of largemouth bass and peacock bass. I also have some experience fishing saltwater and brackish water. I am absolutely addicted to Flamingo, Everglades National Park backcountry fishing. Snook, Redfish, SeaTrout. Just wanted to introduce myself. I would like to post some pictures, and I know this may be a dumb question...But when I try to upload my pictures it says they are too large. How do I scale them down?? Anyone helping me would be greatly appreciated !! Thanks for listening everybody. TIGHT LINES !!!
